Story
Crow was brought to CVHS when his owner was unable to care for him and his feline siblings (who have already been adopted). He`s shy at first but is a sweet cat, who seeks a home with lots of love. He may seem timid at first, but if you give him a few cheek scratches and some gentle coos, Crow will melt your heart with his hearty purr. He is currently in a room with other felines and is doing great with them. Crow is suspected to have an auto immune condition that affects his paw pads. He has started treatment, is not contagious to other felines and can be a further conversation with an adoption counselor.

Story
Morticia came into CVHS due to not getting along with other felines in her home. She would like to find a place with consistency, a cozy place to cat nap, and a human to give her attention. She is an independent girl who will seek attention occasionally to get her pets in. Morticia is used to being indoors most of the time, occasionally getting outside while supervised. To keep Morticia healthy she received a dental, and needed some teeth extracted, but now is good to go!

Story
Ripton came to CVHS when his owners lost their home. In his previous home, he was reported to be a lap cat who was affectionate and talkative. He is doing well with his feline roommates and really seems to enjoy the company of one of them. Ripton would love to go to a home where he can be left to explore on his own, while learning about his new human family. He does not have any experience with canines or young children. We think with respectful felines and older kids he will do just fine. He would also enjoy a more calm environment. Since coming into our care and losing some weight, he has become more active wanting to play with the toys in the room. He does still have a couple pounds to go, so he is looking for an adopter who could help him the rest of the way. Due to his size, he could not properly groom himself, so has a funny hair cut, but it is starting to grow back well. Is Ripton the cat for you?

Story
Cinderella came to CVHS due to being overwhelmed with the children and other pets in her prior home. She would do best in a calm home with someone willing to be patient with her. She has started to show some staff members that she enjoys pets and can be very affectionate given time. She has lived with cats in the past and was tolerant of them and doesn`t seem to mind the cats here in her colony room. She does have experience with canines and children but they seem to be too much for her so may not enjoy living with them in the future.

Story
Cindy Lou Who came to CVHS when her owner became displaced from her home, and knew it was not fair for Cindy Lou. Cindy Lou so far has been bashful with us, and seems to prefer a calmer setting. She isn`t bothered by her roommate with a similar personality. She would like to have a home that doesn`t have any rambunctious and loud dogs or children.

Story
Smucker is a delightful and charming cat with a big, bold purrrsonality! This sweet girl came to us when her guardian’s lifestyle changed, and now she’s ready to find a new home where she can share her vibrant spirit and loving nature. Smucker can be bashful at first, but then loves to be engaged and involved with her humans. She’s always eager to interact, play, and chat! Whether you’re giving her pets, playing with her favorite toys, or just spending time together, Smucker thrives on attention and affection. But just like any strong-willed kitty, Smucker has her boundaries. She’s a smart girl who knows how to communicate her needs, and she’ll definitely let you know if she’s had enough. If you pay attention to her social cues and respect her space, you’ll be rewarded with endless love and playful moments. To keep this curious and clever kitty happy, Smucker would benefit from a home where she can get plenty of mental and physical stimulation—this means lots of playtime and a variety of activities to keep her busy and satisfied. With Smucker`s behavior of getting overstimulated and love-biting sometimes, she seeks a home with no children. She is doing fine with a cat with a similar personality, and we do not know how she would feel about a canine in her new home.
