Story
Meet Gus! Gus was surrendered to our vet clinic due to having diabetes and his owners were unable to manage him. Normally we don't take cats but how could we can no to this adorable face? Gus is a 9 year old Domestic Shorthair who is a recent diabetic and takes his insulin twice daily. He is a very good boy for his injections and hardly puts up any fight. His foster mom says that he can be shy at first in new spaces but loves to head butt and show you his tummy. Gus is on 2U of insulin twice daily and eats diabetic food which has really helped him stabilize. Moving forward he should only need annual vet visits unless something happens. Gus' foster calls him a little trash panda as he tries to get into all the cat treats constantly! He even told his foster sibling how he really felt when she got too close to his food (nobody was hurt physically but mentally Kona might have been a little upset). Gus is good with other cats and dogs as long as they understand cat boundaries. Gus is current on vaccines, neutered and otherwise healthy. Story
Spazz is 13 and has lived with my mom since he was less than a year old. She has recently gone into a nursing home. I am extremely allergic to cats, so I can't keep him. 🙁 Spazz is talkative, sassy, and sometimes his meows sound like "hell-ooo?". Plenty of personality. He likes to snuggle when HE wants to. 😄 He loves to sleep in his open kennel with a blanket over it or on his cat tree. He loves bird watching, paper bags, cat toys, and good chin scratches. He is strictly an indoor cat, and eats wet food. However, he will NOT eat pate style! He plays in his water, and needs a clean litter box. I'm hoping to find him a quiet home where he gets plenty of attention, and that his new family will be willing to send pictures of him to my mom once in a while.

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Crunchy Granola Suite - I know it is a weird name but whatever. My foster mom and dad call me Gato to remind me that I am not a dog. (Gato means cat in another language) I like the dogs here. I play chase with them, and I will wrestle with the puppies although they are getting big and between the 2 of them, they can pin me down more often than I like. It's not fair getting ganged up on but I am a good gato, I just hiss and run and that usually takes care of that. The big dogs just walk on by me and occasionally I will swat their tails but really, they outweigh me by at least 70# so not much to play with there. I taught myself how to go in and out of the doggie door and like to lay in the sun when the weather is nice. I have been known to sneak across the street and sleep on the neighbor's porch chairs too. I probably shouldn't say that, but it is true. I will need a home with indulgent adopters or a home without the doggie door for me to sneak out of. If you are indulgent or don't have a doggie door, please let me know. I am very cuddly and like to sleep on your shoulder when you are doing dumb stuff like working on the computer or watch TV. I will also share your pillow at night if you let me and purr in your ears. Adoption fee is $150 and I am only adoptable in the state of Texas.

Cat disclaimer: God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. The Bond Boys Sneezy and Happy are part of a litter group that came as bottle babies. They were covered with Ringworm and were so little it was unknown if they would survive or not. But here they are, 5 months later, spunky and healthy, and totally devoted to each other. When you see one, the other is not far behind. They spend their days playing, chasing one another, hunting each other and generally avoiding the other pets in the house as if their world consisted of only those two. Occasionally you will see one of them try to play with the 97# dog that lives here or will try to get the other kitten here to play but mostly, they are the dynamic duo, devoted to being with the other one. While each has their own personality, they seem to complement the other so completely, it is hard to determine where one personality ends and the other begins. They are people friendly and will happily crawl into your lap or bed to cuddle. They are also dog friendly and didn't bother the possum when it came through the doggie door either. So, if you are looking for ongoing entertainment of kitty antics and fun, and a couple of boys who will gladly stop and show you their affectionate sides, these two are for you. These guys are fully vetted to their age, neutered, microchipped and on preventatives. Bonded pair adoption fee $250
