Story
Double the purrs, double the love! Meet 2 year old Boop, sidekick to her sister Buttons. This delightful duo is ready to be your feline best friends! These girls are both playful, sweet companions who love to snooze in your lap. Fun-loving Boop adores all toys, especially those with feathers, but chasing a laser is the cat’s meow. Buttons is laid-back, happy to snuggle in your clothes, sleep on the warm dryers, or nap next to you while you work. An affectionate girl, Buttons will be the first to greet you when you arrive home!. These curious kitties enjoy following you around, but the girls are also happy to be independent. Avid window-watchers, Boop and Buttons are easily entertained by the birds and squirrels outside.. Both cats are spayed and house-trained and play well with other cats. Although listed separately, as bonded siblings, the cats must be adopted together. No two ways about it, Boop and Buttons are ready to bring their joy and cuddles to your home! This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and the little one. After that, we will make arrangements to have the pet transported by van or flown to the Seattle area. The process of arranging the travel and getting the animal here, on average, takes 2-3 weeks, depending on availability of the transporters and your availability to meet them. We understand this process is not as easy as walking into a shelter and immediately adopting a pet, but getting animals out of Houston and the surrounding areas is the only viable chance many of them have, so we appreciate your understanding during this process. We do not accept ANY adoption fees ahead of the pet's arrival, until the pet is with you. We also understand adopting a pet you have not seen in person can be a bit worrisome, especially if other animals are involved. During the adoption process we do our best to convey the personality and allowances of each pet. This is where the foster's involvement is vital. The fosters have the animals often for an extended period of time, and have gotten to know them well. In saying that, not everything is predictable. If things are not what you expect, we have resources on the Seattle side to take the animal back. If possible, we would appreciate, if the situation allows, for you to foster the pet until a new home is found. If that is not possible, we also understand that, and will take them back regardless.
We'll also keep you updated on Buttons's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Fifi was born in June of 2015, so she is almost 9 years old. She is a very sweet girlie. She is playful and loves to be the boss of the house. Important to note: Fifi had an autoimmune disorder (hemolytic anemia) that popped out when she was about 4 years old. This is where her body attacks her red blood cells basically. She had to have a feeding tube in to survive, and still almost died. She was quite timid prior to this whole event, but after she made it through (and has not been sick since), she came back to normal after a few months, and lives life to the fullest! She owns whatever space she is in. This disease will hopefully remain in remission, but there is no guarantee. We feel safe adopting her out at this point since it has been in remission this long. She really deserves a loving home of her very own. She cannot have flea meds applied or have regular vaccines, so she must remain a fully indoor cat, without the exposure of other animals that go in and out that could allow for flea exposure. She can't come into contact with chemical bug sprays, even if they are pet safe (as this is one suspicion of what may have originally caused the disorder to pop out). She is beyond amazing and has such a personality that she is well worth the extra precautions! She does not always like to be picked up, she will kick her back legs sometimes, but she loves to lay by you and follow you around. She usually does not get along with other cats, but she does do well with one kitty she has been around for a long time-Sebastian, so we are listing them as a bonded pair... but they can go separately as well. She does ok with smaller, calm dogs, but not larger or more energetic ones. Fifi is spayed, but due to her auto immune disease cannot have other vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

Story
Sebastian was born around May of 2017 so he is about 7 years old. He was found outside of a restaurant in an area where pets are dumped. He is also extremely sweet, but very timid. We recently tested him out with a foster though, and he does calm down in a new environment, he just needs time to do so. He absolutely loves to snuggle, but needs to be pushed a bit out of his comfort zone at first. Once he knows the space and trusts you though, he is a little love bug. We did think he followed Fifi’s lead alone, but having the time apart, he did better than we expected. This is why we are open for them to go together or apart. He needs a calm household where he can flourish. He does have gray hair, but he is NOT hypoallergenic. He does not do well with children. He does ok with dogs if they are small and very calm. He is scared of most other cats. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his rabies vaccine, and has had his other vaccinations, but being an indoor cat without exposure to others, he does not get any other vaccines currently. His adoption fee is $300.
