Story
Dewey needs a home because his owner is going into senior housing and she is unable to care for him. He is obese, a whopping 25 pounds, about 12 years old and very shy with strangers. He has had regular veterinary care but the exact status of his vaccinations is unknown to me, but I will get his records. When he warms up to you he likes to be petted and brushed. He has been an indoor outdoor cat, can use a pet door and is litterbox trained (never an 'accident' indoors). He is used to a quiet life, laying on his heated bed indoors and lolling around in the sun like a beached whale.

Story
Tiger is a gentle guy who would love to find his forever home this winter! It can take him a little while to warm up to people, but once he feels settled in you can expect to find him snoozing in a cozy pile of blankets, pouncing on anything crinkly, nibbling on his favorite edible plants, or purring LOUDLY as you scritch his ears. He has no tail which only adds to his charm!Tiger would do best in a calm home with adults or older kids who will respect his boundaries. We`re not sure how he is with other cats, and might prefer to be your one and only. If you`re looking for a quiet but affectionate new friend with lots of love (and head bonks) to give, Tiger`s your guy!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Spooky is super sweet! He loves attention and play time, and he purrs a lot. He enjoys his scratching post, playing with his catnip mouse, and exploring his surroundings. A little shy at first, he might do best in a calm home, and we`re not sure how he is with other pets. Story
Mr. Fluffy is a shy but sweet kitty, complete with purring and kneading, especially during feeding time. He`s not a cuddly lap cat, but is enjoying playtime more and more. With too many pets, he might swat and nip, so best in a home with adults or older respectful kids. He likes to explore the house and chatter at birds out the window. He lived with other cats and a dog previously, so might do okay with other pets given a slow, proper introduction, but would be okay as your one and only pet, too. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Bear is a sweet, shy boy who is still in the process of adjusting to life in his foster home. He enjoys spending time in his closet fort, getting pets after dinner, playing with string toys and `rearranging` the towels and blankets in the closet. Right now he is eating prescription food to help his urinary crystals and anxiety. He may or may not need to stay on that food. He is a gentle soul with an adorable little meow!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Cole is a sweet, gentle giant with the deepest purrs. He is an energetic boy who would thrive in a home where he can roam and play. Cole loves churu treats, chasing his string toy and perching by the window. He is slowly getting comfortable with lap time, and he loves pets but occasionally does gentle biting. Taking lots of breaks during petting helps avoid this. Cole was found outside and other cats were fighting with him, so he might prefer a home with no other pets. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process.
