VIOLET is a special dog. We have had several different opinions about her breed(s). Her color could be Catahoula or Boxer. But we also see Border Collie (4 white feet) and/or Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler). We don’t know. She is just 1 yr old (estimated DOB 3/1/24) and so well mannered. She is leash trained and kennel trained. She weighs 57# and will probably get up to 60-65# once she has her total growth. She loves other dogs and absolutely leaves my house cats alone… but… if she came across one outside that hisses & blows and takes off running, she would probably chase. I have not had her around young children but she is even-tempered and an older child who knows how to treat a dog would probably do fine. Violet is a medium-energy dog. She still needs chew toys, we have used Nyla bones and similar chew toys successfully.
This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."

After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
