Story
Meet Clint Barton! Clint Barton is an extraordinary dog with a heart full of love and loyalty. This remarkable boy is crate trained and potty trained, making him a seamless addition to your home. Though Clint is deaf, it doesnt hold him back from being an incredible companion. Hes adapted beautifully to his unique perspective on the world and responds well to visual cues and hand signals. With resilience and a willingness to learn, Clint is mastering basic obedience and leash walking and is eager to expand his skillsespecially with hand commands. Weve also introduced a vibration collar to help get his attention from a distance, allowing him to safely run and play while staying connected. Clint can be a little shy when meeting new people, sometimes even trembling with uncertainty, but he warms up quickly with patience, walks, and plenty of treats. He thrives on clear communication and structure, which help build his confidence and make him feel secure. Clint is available for foster-to-adopt, offering a wonderful opportunity to see how well he fits into your world before committing to adoption. Deaf dogs may require some adjustments in training, but the rewards of sharing your life with this resilient and loving companion far outweigh the challenges. As with all our dogs, we provide ongoing support and training to ensure you and Clint start off and stay on the right path to happiness. If youre ready to open your heart and home to an extraordinary dog, Clint Barton is waiting to meet you! Clint Barton is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00. Story
**Fostered in Nampa, ID and ready for meet and greets!** How often do you see a dog that is this striking? Well don’t just stare, let me introduce you! Her name is Isa and she can come across as a bit shy but Ill tell you, it is only because she is truly holding her best material for her biggest fans. Her best material is the sweetest kisses, goofy zoomies, and a silly playfulness that looks so good on her. We can’t say for sure of course but everything about her leads us to believe she is a Catahoula Leopard dog. Estimated to be 2 years old and weighing 48 lbs, she is a full-grown mid-size dog, which from experience I will say is prime snuggle size. If you know about the breed already you can skip ahead but if not, one of my favorite facts is that Catahoulas are the state dog of Louisiana so if you are a die hard LSU fan, this girl will wear your purple and gold with true pride. Beyond that they are independent and smart and loyal through and through. Isa’s perfect home is adaptable and we could see her thriving in a house with a yard to enjoy or an apartment. She does prefer the quiet life, you might even say she identifies as a country girl with no interest in big city life. Its noisy. As for other pets, Isa doesn’t mind one way or another. An independent male dog would make a great counter-part but she is perfectly content being an only dog. As for cats, she has spent a lot of time with our house cat Tom, even laid down together!. Kids are welcome with understanding the her bit of shyness isn’t from lack of love, she is a bit like a new kid at school, help her learn her way around and be supportive, before you know it you’ll have a new best friend who is ready to show you all her cool spins and zoomies. Isa was introduced to several new dogs and did great, she was very tolerant and patient with a variety of dogs from calm to the high energy wild ones. Her shy approach isn’t as present with dogs but she does take a more aloof approach at first so a dog that is understanding or equally easy-going and aloof would be best for her. Isa is a cutie girl who is sure to bring you and everyone around you plenty of laughs and love. A girl like her won’t be available for long so if you are even slightly interested, fill out an application or send an email to kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Baby Boy is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Baby Boy is a possible Catahoula/Cur Mix and is around 6 months old (December 28th) and around 35 pounds. He, 3 other puppies, and a Mama dog were dumped on a bridge outside of Tishomingo. He loves other dogs of all sizes. Baby Boy is like every other puppy, energetic, funny, friendly, and loves belly rubs! He has been in foster and has learned leash and crate training. He is not housebroken, but we are sure he can learn quickly. Video of Baby Boy: https://youtube.com/shorts/CtT-Hdt5Kn4?feature=share Baby Boy is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, a negative heartworm test, on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. Story
Animal Profile: Clark is a 9 week old Catahoula/Terrier X puppy who joined us with his 3 siblings on 12/16/2024 via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. The puppies, along with mom, were living under an abandoned trailer and were picked up by our rescue partner, Saving Shelter Strays. They were in a foster home there while awaiting their freedom ride to the PNW to find their forever homes.  Foster Update: Here is the sweet fellow you have been looking for to complete your family!  Clark is about 9 weeks old and is doing so good at life. He is very food motivated and has been crate training. Currently he sleeps well in his crate and goes potty about once in the middle of the night. He goes right back to sleep after. During the day he does great with his potty schedule and has very few accidents for how young he is! Potty training is a work in progress but he is truly making great strides each day.  He loves the resident dog (80 lbs) and they play well together. Clark goes on a couple walks a day and loves getting out and seeing new things. He has already eaten out in U-village making many fans and sleeping quietly under the table. He is obviously adorable and he loves to be with his people and follows them everywhere. He is truly a GEM!  He will win your heart with his sweet face, puppy antics, and gentle little heart. Clark will be big boy (Mom is aprox 70 lbs). We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a canine companion. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Texas Saving Shelter Strays and arriving on 12/16/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.December 26, 2024, 2:49 pm
