Story
Darling Emma is not only beautiful, she is exceptionally gentle tempered. She appears to be about 7-8mo old and currently weighs 42lbs. We expect her to be about 50-55lbs when she’s full grown. Emma is a little timid, but she’s very eager to greet everyone she meets and put her head in their lap. She is a very curious girl that likes to take her time when on walks so she can leisurely explore all that is around her. She is doing wonderful with her leash training and she’s learning her basic commands and manners quickly. With a little more confidence, she’ll be a wonderful hiking partner, too. Emma is such a kind hearted girl, she would be an excellent addition to a family with kids over 6yrs old. She is doing excellent with her crate training and with regular potty breaks, she’s doing great with her house training, too. She gets along so great with dogs of all sizes, it would be great if she had a kind, confident dog in the home to play with and learn from. She can be very selective with her kitty pals so no cats in the home would be best. Emma must have a securely fenced yard and because of her young age, she should not be left along for more that 5-6hr intervals. If you would like to meet this very special girl please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number.August 19, 2024, 11:27 am

Story
Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great. My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait. If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Chica To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Indio was around the shelter for two years, neglected by his former owners, we decided to give him a space in the shelter when he started playing among the cars on the road. In the midst of danger we were able to get him to safety, and he currently has his full vaccination schedule, microchipped and neutered, ready for his new home. He is a very faithful, intelligent, calm and very sociable dog. He was raised with other dogs and cats, so he makes him a good companion for any family, he likes to go for a walk on a leash, cuddles, receive prizes and learns very quickly. He is an affectionate companion, ideal for a family with children and cats, who wants to give him the love he deserves. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Story
Snickers is available for adoption in TX, PNW and NE (excluding MA) Meet Snickers! This adorable 5-month-old Catahoula mix puppy is full of life and ready to find his forever home. Bursting with puppy energy and enthusiasm, Snickers loves to run, play, chew, and be loved. He has a particular fondness for water and mud, making bath time extra fun! While he listens on his own terms, Snickers is getting quite good at sitting when treats are involved, showing he is smart and eager to learn with the right motivation. True to his puppy nature, Snickers loves to chew on toys and dig in pots, so providing him with appropriate chew toys and a safe digging area will keep him happy and occupied. Snickers does well being crated at night for up to 8 hours, giving his future family peace of mind and a good night's sleep. He plays well with the resident dog, even though the dog can be a bit territorial. Snickers is still learning about personal space with new dog friends and would love to jump into playtime right away. He shows interest in chasing and barking at cats, but with dedicated one-on-one training and attention, Snickers has the potential to coexist peacefully with feline friends. Snickers would thrive in a home that can keep up with his high energy levels and provide him with plenty of playtime and exercise. He needs a family willing to invest time in training and socialization to help him become a well-rounded adult dog. If you have a dog-savvy cat and are willing to work on his training, Snickers could be a great addition to your family. Are you ready to welcome a bundle of joy and energy into your home?
