Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
We are looking for a more suitable home for our 1 year old lab husky mix, Zeus. He is potty trained, up to date on all vaccines, and he was just recently neutered and microchipped. We’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old, but unfortunately we have come to the conclusion that our home is not the right fit for him. We love him so very much, but he is extremely high energy and we do not have a backyard for him to run and play out his energy even after 2 walks a day he is still rowdy and eager to play. He needs an owner with a big yard where he can run and play and who can give him the time and attention that he deserves. He is crate trained and sleeps in a crate during the night. He is not good with other dogs since he has not been around them often, but with proper training I think he could learn to adapt to them! He would come with food, all his toys, 2 dog beds, food and water bowl, leash, best, collar, and a large crate. $200 rehoming fee. Serious inquiries only please.
