Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Hi my name is Bubba! I'm a well behaved Chesapeake Bay Retriever with a very excited personality! I love to run, play, fetch, swim, chase ducks at the lake and cuddle on the couch! I'm great with kids, cats, dogs and people! Ball is life and I will chase the ball until I can't breathe! 😂🤣 I need exercise and play time or I will bug you until you do it. I don't have any issues with going potty in the house, I don't chew anything that isn't mine and I'm an all around well behaved dog. My owners have a toddler who has recently displayed allergies to dander and unfortunately I need to find a new home. Preferably with a backyard, fenced is optional but if not fenced then far away from a busy road. My owner has plenty of pics showing just how well I get along with kids, cats and family life. If interested more can be provided. I do barks when someone new comes into the house, but then once I know who it is I will go lay down. 😊

I love Lily so much and it's very hard writing this. I adopted her in October of 2023 from the Everett Animal Shelter here. I already had a young Lab, Apollo, and had always had 2 dogs at a time previously Rottweilers. So I've had a lot of experience with pups. Lily is so sweet, affectionate and loves giving kisses. All my dogs have always slept on my bed and have never been in crates. If that's what you'd do to her just scroll on by. She loves to play. So much so that she's continually tearing down the rotted fence between my neighbor and myself just to go over and play with their 3 dogs. I've never had this issue with any dog I've had. I've continuously nailed boards up to keep her in my yard but nothing works. I finally missed a nail and hammered my hand. I had surgery on it last week. A volunteer has come over twice to screw more wood up only for her to break through another rotted board. She needs a home with other active dogs and kids to play with. I'm in tears now.
