Story
Meet Polo, a super sweet 5 year old neutered male chihuahua/terrier mix with the cutest underbite! Polo weighs about 22 lbs and is full grown. Polo is a sweet, loving boy who loves to be around his person and enjoys sitting on people's laps! He can be a little nervous at first when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly.  He is good with other dogs (can be timid around larger dogs at first, but fine once he gets to know them), people, and older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space. He has not been cat tested, however we feel he would likely be fine with cats. Polo is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained.  From Polo's current foster:  "Polo is a wonderful dog, sometimes a little too cuddly and loving, but he has a great disposition and would make a great companion to anyone who gets to know him. He is a muscular little guy and has a snaggletooth which makes him look super cute! He would do well as an only dog or in a house with an older dog. An older couple or single person seeking a loyal companion would love him, but so would a family with kids!" Apply to meet Polo today!  ##1999722##

Story
Meet Trixie, a super cute 1 year old spayed female chihuahua mix, weighing about 13 lbs! This darling girl is shy at first, but very sweet and loving once she warms up. Trixie gets along with everyone - dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is crate trained, pad trained, and outdoor potty trained. A 100% good doggo! She is medically up to date and ready to meet her furever family. From her CT foster mom: "I’ve fallen in love with this sweet girl in the short time I’ve had her! She is so precious and well behaved! Trixie is a little shy and reserved at first but she quickly forms bonds with people. We have seen her personality come out when she zooms around and jumps up on the bed for more. She gets along well with all of our dogs and cats. She keeps trying to play with our dogs but she hasn’t quite figured out how to initiate play yet. So far she has been great about going potty outside and she has been quiet in her crate. She even came to work today with me without issue and was very brave meeting new people and was quiet in her crate. I absolutely adore this girl Apply to meet this sweet girl today!  ##2140960##

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. We transport to most state across the country.  Thank you for looking. If interested, please submit an application on our website at www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 18, 2024, 7:41 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED This is ANGEL who was owner surrendered to us because the owner could not afford the pet deposit with the landlord.  She is 9 months old and 11 pounds and probably will not grow anymore. ANGEL is a quiet yet playful dog who is use to being around other dogs and get along along with all of the dogs in my home.  She walks well on a leash and does not get car sick.  She likes to cuddle up with you and other smaller dogs just because.  She is a good dog in my home and would make a great pet for a first time owner or senior citizen or single or full family home pet.  She adapts well to any environment. Story
ADOPTED!! If you are not able to view the pictures please email me and I will send them to you.  Sorry for any inconvenience. Trina is the smallest of the 2 girls at 3.50 pounds.  She is 3 months old. Her sister Tammy weighs 5 pounds. Both are big at heart and play very well with the foster dogs in my home.  She is a robust tiny girl.  I would like to adopt them together but will only consider separating them if there is another pet in the home already.  They will be truly bored and not make good dogs being the only dog in the home. I do not expect them to be more than 10 pounds as adults.  If you are interested in adopting them or one of them please submit an application on the website below. They have only had 1 vaccination and I would like for them to have 2 before going to their new home.  Their second vaccination is due on February 23 and they will receive that here but I am taking applications now.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
