Story
***RITA IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!***      Rita, a speedy & hilarious Chihuahua puppy, is the canine version of the PICK ME!! girl.  Ridiculously cheerful and affectionate, she can entertain herself for hours alone with toys or with an existing playmate. She would be the perfect addition for a house with or without a pet.  She is very much like her sister, Margo, and is also very generous with kisses but watch your nose because she'll stick her tongue straight up it!  Rita loves running around the yard with her foster siblings, stealing toys, and chasing bugs...as long as it's not a big big bug.  If it's a big big bug, she'll scream and run away.  She's "meh" on a leash, has been crate trained, and fighting potty training, not even gonna lie.  Rita   will be available for adoption the second week of September. We encourage you to submit your application now for pre-adoption.  Her $600 adoption fee covers full veterinary care prior to adoption, including spay/neuter, microchipping, rabies vaccination, and all initial puppy vaccinations, as well as transportation to CT via a certified USDA transport service, ensuring Rita arrives safely to her new family.
