This is Andy and he comes to us seeking a forever home with patient adopters! Andy was running as a stray and all the signs are there that he had a difficult/abusive past. Andy needs his time to get settled in and get to know you, which is just a few days. He loves being near you, indoor life (especially couches), a yard where he can watch the birds and Andy loves to eat! Andy is approximately 4 years old and about 22 pounds. This adorable pair of puppies, Nana (female) and Poppy (male), are a bonded duo that may be skittish at first but are quick to love. They enjoy snuggling under blankets and showering you and each other with kisses.Nana is a little more shy at first but warms up quickly. She keeps Poppy in line with her nurturing personality. These cuties are estimated to be about 4-5 months old and appear to be a playful mix of pug, beagle and Chihuahua. They were found as strays so this is our best guess. They are both doing well with potty training. They are fine with other dogs of similar size or medium size. They are also fine with cats. Poppy is comfortable with bigger dogs, but Nana was afraid when she met a much bigger dog. Their sweet bond and loving nature make them the perfect companions for anyone looking for double the love. Pip Pip has been with us since Thanksgiving day. He's adjusted really well. He coexists with all the family animals, cats included and couldn't care less about them but will let them know with a growl they've entered his personal space. His focus is collecting all the squeaky toys and being with/on his foster mom's lap. He goes outside very confidently, does his business, claims his territory and comes back in to find his lap again usually holding a toy. His communication could be determined as mean but that is not the case. It's his way of showing that he likes petting, and scratching and just ALL the attention. He'll lean in hard to your neck for lovin's. A fashionable belly band would help in the beginning because he wants to claim the inside as his territory too but he is housetrained. Trazadone helps to calm this boys excess energy for now, Pip Pip would make a great lap dog for anyone who is looking.

Turkleton (Turk) is an opinionated, energetic, and lovable dog that has been a part of our family for the past 8 years. He loves a snuggle, scratches behind the ears, and quality time with his humans. Unfortunately, Turk has not reacted well to having a new baby in our home. We have tried to acclimate him and make it work, but we feel finding him a new home is the best thing to give him the life he deserves. He gets a little overexcited at times, such as when people come and go, and needs a human with a willingness to understand and accommodate his chihuahua quirks. While he may not be a fit for everyone, he is loyal and will give you lots of love and laughs. Would be great for a single person, young couple, or anyone willing to give him the patience and attention he needs. We love him and want to see him go to a good home.
