Story
Turkleton (Turk) is an opinionated, energetic, and lovable dog that has been a part of our family for the past 8 years. He loves a snuggle, scratches behind the ears, and quality time with his humans. Unfortunately, Turk has not reacted well to having a new baby in our home. We have tried to acclimate him and make it work, but we feel finding him a new home is the best thing to give him the life he deserves. He gets a little overexcited at times, such as when people come and go, and needs a human with a willingness to understand and accommodate his chihuahua quirks. While he may not be a fit for everyone, he is loyal and will give you lots of love and laughs. Would be great for a single person, young couple, or anyone willing to give him the patience and attention he needs. We love him and want to see him go to a good home.

Billy is a very sweet but shy boy who barely escaped death with his buddy Butch. They were already in the euth room in a shelter in Texas, but fortunately we were able to pull them just in time. Billy and Butch were roaming the streets with a few other dogs when they were picked up by ACS. It has been a rough start to life for these two, but we are hoping they will find a wonderful family to show them that life can be good and not all humans are bad or scary. They are definitely bonded and must be kept together. Billy adjusted pretty quickly, but little Butch is frightened and less trusting and will take a little longer to warm up. Butch was so frightened when arriving to us, but who wouldnt have been. Picked up as a stray with his buddy, Billy. Taken to the shelter where he was minutes from losing his life. Then transported across the country with lots of other barking and frightened pups. It’s been a whirlwind of stressful events. But even so, Butch began to relax slightly after a few days and after a week he allowed us to touch him. It just takes a little time and patience. Billy warms up a lot faster, but with time these two will be a delightful addition to any family. We are looking for someone with the time and patience to bring the best out in this sweet boy who Wants so badly to trust and believe there is good that exists in this scary world. At not quite three weeks we are now receiving kisses from Butch. Both boys are vaccinated, neutered, flea and tick treated and microchipped. Meet Mama Lola. Lola is the mom of 4 chiweenie pups that have all found forever homes and mama wants one of her own too! She is the biggest sweetheart and loves to cuddle with you at all times. She weighs 12 lbs and the vet says she is anywhere between 2 years and 5 years! Her teeth are pretty white but her face has a few white hairs. Maybe those white hairs are from those active pups? She is the sweetest girl who wants to be with people most of the time but also likes to hang out with her foster siblings and take a nap. Her favorite spot is under the covers but also loves laying in front of the fire and sunbathing in the window. She is potty trained. She gets goofy at times and loves to grab your hands and play with you. She even smiles when she gets really excited and will roll around in blankets. She does great with dogs of all sizes but doesnt do great with cats. She loves all people and is the perfect dog for a family or single person. This adorable pair of puppies, Nana (female) and Poppy (male), are a bonded duo that may be skittish at first but are quick to love. They enjoy snuggling under blankets and showering you and each other with kisses.Nana is a little more shy at first but warms up quickly. She keeps Poppy in line with her nurturing personality. These cuties are estimated to be about 4-5 months old and appear to be a playful mix of pug, beagle and Chihuahua. They were found as strays so this is our best guess. They are both doing well with potty training. They are fine with other dogs of similar size or medium size. They are also fine with cats. Poppy is comfortable with bigger dogs, but Nana was afraid when she met a much bigger dog. Their sweet bond and loving nature make them the perfect companions for anyone looking for double the love.
