Story
Hey there! Linex and Kipper here! Surrendered to the shelter through no fault of our own, we are a bonded pair of boys looking for a new home to call out own! We are pint-sized and adorable, but don't let that fool you - we got a little attitude and spunk to us! We are a little skittish with new people, but with time and patience, we will be cuddled up in your lap in no time! We prefer older, respectful kids as the rambunctiousness that little children can have would be a little too much for us. We also do not mind other dogs, but the more similar in size to us the better. We also have lived with cats in the past and were friendly with them. Our ideal home would be patient, quiet, and willing to give us all the love in the world! We are ready for our happily ever after! Maybe that could be with you? Ask to meet us at the shelter! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 14.2 Age: 3yrs 3mths 2wks

Meet Patty & Tilly – Bonded Sisters Looking for a Forever Home!Patty and Tilly are two sweet, spunky chihuahuas who found themselves in a difficult situation. Rescued from a large-scale dog hoarding case in Wisconsin, these adorable sisters are ready to begin their next chapter in a loving and patient home. Both Patty and Tilly are spayed, fully vetted, and have had extensive dental work due to the neglect they faced in their past. As a result, they will need to stay on a soft-food diet for the rest of their lives, but that doesn’t stop them from being full of love! While they’re still learning how to enjoy life as happy, healthy dogs, Patty and Tilly thrive in a calm environment where they can feel safe and secure. They are best suited for a home with other dogs their size, as larger dogs can be overwhelming for them. A quieter household with older or young adult children would be ideal, as younger kids may be too much for these shy girls to handle.Patty and Tilly are bonded sisters who have grown so close over time, and they would love to continue to be together in a forever home where they can continue their journey of healing. If you’re ready to give these precious girls the second chance they truly deserve, please visit eastshoreha.org to submit an application.Once approved, our staff will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet – just a reminder, Patty and Tilly are in foster care, so please don’t visit the shelter without an appointment. We can`t wait to see these sweet girls find the loving home they`ve been waiting for!
We'll also keep you updated on Tilly's adoption status with email updates.

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on March 28th and arrive on March 29th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 2/17/2025 Dog Name: Pixie Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Chihuahua mix Approximate Age: 6 months Approximate Weight: 4-6 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed  Description: Pixie is the sweetest little pocket pup! She is happy all the time and adores children and is dog and cat friendly! She loves to go for a car ride or be carried around in a sling/puppy carrier. She is just too precious and we know it won’t take long for her new family to find her! She is doing fantastic with potty training and knows how to use puppy pads. She’s so small -she never makes a mess and barely makes a peep! Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 5, 2025, 10:14 pm
