Story
With the face, ears, and coloring of a tri-colored collie, but the back end of a champion German shepherd, Buddy is a very handsome gentleman. Buddy is in a play group with dogs of his size but gets long with all sizes. He is strong and could use leash training but will be a showstopper! He is popular with volunteers and has been taken to several adoption events. He does great with babies, seniors and everything in between. He would be a great addition to any family.

If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link. Story
Meet Lucy! Born on 4/19, these little loves have been well socialized from birth with kids of all ages! They are spunky at play time, but love a good nap in your lap or even cradled in your arms. They spend their days playing outside and learning to potty in designated areas, while inside they are already working on potty pad training as well. They’re also working on recall with basic hand signals and squeaky toys, and are gentle at taking treats from small hands. Their DNA includes Malinois, Dutch Shepherd, German Shepherd, and Australian Cattle Dog, so they will be exceptionally smart, very active, and loyal family dogs! Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Our dogs are spayed/neutered and a registered chip. For our puppies they are up to date on vaccinations.  Once adopted it is the new owner’s responsibility to continue the remaining vaccinations with a veterinarian. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application! We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering ##2069885##
