Story
Thyme was brought in by a good Samaritan wanting to see if we could help with him. Of course we said yes. He is a sweetie. As you can see from his pictures he is beautiful. He's a very happy puppy but still needs a forever family to love and take care of him. He has been fully vetted, up to date on all shots and will be neutered before going to his forever home. He loves to play and is good with kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats at this time. Won't you think about adopting this sweet young pup? He will make a good family member with all of his love and happiness that he has to share. Thyme is being fostered in TN but not to worry because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. The transport fee is included in the adoption fee as well.

Story
Can a Collie get a break here?? Yes, we think I am a collie mix and what a handsome boy I am!! I did not look this handsome when I arrived at the rescue, but a DEDICATED foster took me in and nursed me back to health and (even though it will be hard for her), I am READY for my FUREVER HOME!!! I came from a plea at a local animal control facility- I had been attacked by three other dogs at the facility who broke into my kennel and mauled me pretty bad :( My foster mom saw the post and agreed to help, and HELP she DID!!! Even though not a medical foster, she learned ALL the things she had to do to help my body and my soul heal. My back end/sides were torn OPEN on each side, numerous bite marks and punctures and infection when she got me. I spent quite a bit of time at the rescue vet for debridement and treatment of the very serious infections and then she took me home and changed my dressings daily and then weekly and then no more dressings!! I am a very very sweet and cuddly boy. House/crate trained, great with other dogs and everyone I meet (except kitties- not a fan). I am a medium sized boy and I am ready for you!!! My ideal family will love and appreciate my survivor personality, my cuddly and happy temperament and will keep me safe from harm for as long as they are blessed to have me :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Amos was a stray that found himself as a stray and later at a high kill shelter. Amos is a very sweet dog who needs an owner to show him love and regain the confidence he has lost from what we believe was abuse and neglect. Amos will make a wonderful pet for the person or family that wants to spend time loving and caring for this sweet boy!

Story
Looking for your new best friend? Nestle is the happiest and most loyal dog you will ever meet! Nestle gives the best hugs and kisses and somehow knows when you need them. He is full of love and snuggles, and he enjoys curling up next to you while you’re watching TV. He’s about 2 years old, weighs 78 pounds, and we believe he’s a Collie/Shepherd mix. Nestle knows the basics… sit, stay, lay down, shake, and kennel. He loves toys, playing fetch, and his favorite…a kong full of treats! Nestle’s foster momma says “they don’t get any better than Nestle. He is the BEST!! I’m telling you he is absolutely the best dog. Super super smart. He is a lover of all things and picks up on commands very quickly… he loves to cuddle and always wants his paw to be on you. He also loves to go on walks and gets super excited about meeting new dogs and new people.“ Nestle is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventives. If you’d like to make this all-around amazing boy a member of your family, please email bigyellowdog.wendy@gmail.com for an application.

Story
Macey is a beauty and a head turner with that defines the word fluffy dog. This 5 year old, 70 pound glamour girl is a Collie/Shepherd mix. She wa previously living with her humans on a farm and it was the most perfect life. A serene life where she lived on a farm nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee that offered her days of running in grassy fields, making friends with a few horses and having no cares in the world.  Macey’s human Dad passed away suddenly, and her human Mamma  is not in good health.  Her Mamma cried when she surrendered Macey to our rescue, but we promised to find that perfect lifestyle and serene setting again. This girl is very calm and gentle with an air of lady like  elegance.  Macey hasn’t had much experience on a leash, as she was used to the freedom of farm life, but she is a quick learner and aims to please.  Macey is housebroken,  UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, HW negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in this sweet girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
DAISY IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!     This gorgeous gal with the stunning smile is Daisy. She is a Collie mix, with shiny soft fur. She’s supper sweet, but timid at first. Once she knows you are okay though she will presently roll over and present her belly for rubs and pets. She gives her foster mom kisses all the time. She’s smart and wants to please, but the shyness holds her back. But it’s getting better. She sleeps in a crate all night. Daisy is house trained as well. She is not crazy about a leash, so we are still working on that.  Daisy is great with every dog she meets, and would do best in a home with another dog to help build her confidence. Daisy’s pal in her foster home is Elroy the cat. Daisy is a sweet submissive gal needs the perfect forever home. She is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. Her adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Daisy up north to her new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Daisy here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 10:00 am

Story
Meet Booker-he and his brothers and sister were dumped in a box outside one of our foster homes!! Well that is one way to get an overwhelmed foster to take your unwanted puppies I guess. Problem is that they got out of the box and were wandering in the road. Thankfully a neighbor noticed them and immediately told the foster who of course ran out and gathered them up....and their new life began. These pups are a true mix. Obviously some Aussie going on with possibly some Spaniel. If you would like more information about one of these playful happy pups please email Cathy at pawsofdalehollow@gmail.com
