Story
Meet Booker-he and his brothers and sister were dumped in a box outside one of our foster homes!! Well that is one way to get an overwhelmed foster to take your unwanted puppies I guess. Problem is that they got out of the box and were wandering in the road. Thankfully a neighbor noticed them and immediately told the foster who of course ran out and gathered them up....and their new life began. These pups are a true mix. Obviously some Aussie going on with possibly some Spaniel. If you would like more information about one of these playful happy pups please email Cathy at pawsofdalehollow@gmail.com

Story
Meet Bessie, the loving mama to the 7 Cowgirl pups (Elsie, Daisy, Clara Bell, Dottie, Ginger, Josie, and Buttercup)! Bessie is a 2 year old spayed female Australian Cattle Dog/small shepherd mix. She is smaller than she looks in pictures, about 30 lbs. She has been a wonderful mama to her babies, but now she's ready to retire from motherhood and find her furever home! Bessie is a sweet, friendly girl who is good with dogs, cats, people, and kids! She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. A 100% good doggo!  From Bessie's current foster:  "Bessie is such a pretty girl! She is 100% weaned from her babies, she protested the entire process and would nurse them for life if she was allowed to. This sweet girl would make any family the perfect pet. She’s great on a leash, house trained, and crate trained. She’s learning her basic commands and is not always the best at coming when called when she’s running around outside, so a fenced yard or leash walking until she’s more trustworthy would be ideal. She’s good with other dogs, kids and knows no stranger. She will bark at the cat but a firm ‘Bessie NO’ will stop her. She loves cuddles on the couch from any willing human." Apply to meet this sweet girl today!  ##2130958##

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. COWBOY is a family dog… about 1 ½ yrs old…63#...Red Heeler aka Australian Cattle Dog. He has been a part of the Foster’s family for over 6 months and has become the “teaching” cowboy to any new dogs that come in. He teaches them to go outside to potty through the doggie door and to go lay down on the dog bed to be out of the way. He leaves the cats alone as long as they don’t run…if they do, then the chase is on. He is kennel trained (though he much prefers to be out with you). He is loyal, attentive, and calm. He is easy-going and wants to learn. He bonds easily He is fairly good on the leash…he will pull if something really interests him…but otherwise he is right there with you. Cowboy will make a great dog for someone who loves to go out walking, hiking, boating. Heelers are known for loving the water. He loves to be right with you everywhere you go and everything you do, he’s your sidekick. He enjoys playing with other friendly, dogs. He doesn’t play rough and prefers dogs who reflect his gentle play style. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Well, hey there, pals! The name's Blue Bella, and let me paint you a picture of this stunning 8-month-old heeler that you're lucky enough to lay your peepers on. I've got all my vet visits checked off, I've got a microchip in case I get lost on one of my epic adventures, I'm a pro at doing my business outside, and I can cozy up in my crate like it's a 5-star hotel suite.   But hold on a second, don't be fooled by my pretty face - there's more to me than meets the eye! I'm not just cute, I'm also overflowing with affection and sharp as a tack. I'm always eager to learn new tricks and keep my mind buzzing with activity. I've got big dreams of becoming the ultimate boss babe, so I need a forever family that's ready to keep up with my energetic spirit.   And let's not forget about my social skills - I'm a total pro at hanging out with other dogs and kiddos. Cats? Well, we might need a bit of a slow introduction, but with some patience and proper training, I'm sure we can all become the best of pals.   So, if you're on the hunt for a fun-loving, intelligent pup like me, buckle up and get ready for the ride of a lifetime! Do your homework on my breed, lace up your hiking boots, and let's embark on some unforgettable adventures together. We'll make memories that'll last a lifetime, guaranteed!   Approved application required prior to setting up a meet and greet   Please call your vet ahead of time to give them permission to release a reference - this will significantly expedite the application process!    Application to adopt - www.astdogrescue.com/dog-application ##2105639##
