Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3-5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. Rex is a 4 yr old, 55 lb, Very Good Boy! He is good with other dogs and LOVES kids. He enjoys playing, gets the occasional case of the zoomies, but generally has a nice medium energy level. He is very affectionate and enjoys car rides- he knows that "load up" means it is time to go and he hops right into the car. He is potty trained, crate trained, and walks great on the leash. His foster mom said he loves going on trips to the pet store and vet clinic with her. Rex is a great dog and is ready to be a beloved member of his new family. Rex is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
