Story

Cooper is a real go-getter when it comes to playing fetch, hiking, going to the store and car rides. He's also very independent and loyal, and he's not into counter-surfing or begging for food. He is crate, muzzle, and stim collar trained. But Cooper's not perfect. He's okay in open areas but not so great with crowds or loud noises. He's also nervous around kids and babies. He gets along better with female dogs. We adopted Cooper from Pot Cake Place in Turks and Caicos as a pup. He was found with his sister behind the airport. He grew up to be a smart but cautious dog. He can tell when you're trying to trick him, like hiding pills, but he'll be your best friend once he gets to know you. He would be the perfect pup for anyone who would like to skip the puppy stage but, would like an active dog. If local, our trainer has agreed to help acclimate Cooper to his new home. We do ask, that you donate a small amount to a local rescue.

Macey is a beauty and a head turner with that defines the word fluffy dog. This 5 year old, 70 pound glamour girl is a Collie/Shepherd mix. She wa previously living with her humans on a farm and it was the most perfect life. A serene life where she lived on a farm nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee that offered her days of running in grassy fields, making friends with a few horses and having no cares in the world. Macey’s human Dad passed away suddenly, and her human Mamma is not in good health. Her Mamma cried when she surrendered Macey to our rescue, but we promised to find that perfect lifestyle and serene setting again. This girl is very calm and gentle with an air of lady like elegance. Macey hasn’t had much experience on a leash, as she was used to the freedom of farm life, but she is a quick learner and aims to please. Macey is housebroken, UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, HW negative and microchipped. Citra is housebroken and crate trained. She also knows all of her basic commands. About Citra: Citra is an adorable 4 year old border collie mix who is incredibly smart and loves to learn new tricks. Fun facts: she knows over 15 commands and is working on several more, she’s a mozzarella cheese aficionado and butt scratches are her favorite! She also loves sunbathing - she can go for hours without moving from a sunny spot! Please read more about her below! CITRA’S PERFECT MATCH: PERFECT FAMILY: A home with 1-2 adults is ideal. Citra needs crate time when guests come over, but can warm up with a slow introduction and some treats. Because she is shy, we are recommending she not go to a home with small children. She can be quite scared of other dogs and cats, and would do best as the only dog in the home. However, she has been working her hardest with us to overcome her fears, and has shown lots of progress recently! PERFECT HOME: One with a fenced in yard away from the bustling city. She is quiet and comfortable in her crate, knows the “place” command, and does not have accidents in the home. CRATE: Citra loves her crate, she will sleep and relax there during the day and while her humans are not at home. She also sleeps in there all night long! Thyme was brought in by a good Samaritan wanting to see if we could help with him. Of course we said yes. He is a sweetie. As you can see from his pictures he is beautiful. He's a very happy puppy but still needs a forever family to love and take care of him. He has been fully vetted, up to date on all shots and will be neutered before going to his forever home. He loves to play and is good with kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats at this time. Won't you think about adopting this sweet young pup? He will make a good family member with all of his love and happiness that he has to share. Can a Collie get a break here?? Yes, we think I am a collie mix and what a handsome boy I am!! I did not look this handsome when I arrived at the rescue, but a DEDICATED foster took me in and nursed me back to health and (even though it will be hard for her), I am READY for my FUREVER HOME!!! I came from a plea at a local animal control facility- I had been attacked by three other dogs at the facility who broke into my kennel and mauled me pretty bad :( My foster mom saw the post and agreed to help, and HELP she DID!!! Even though not a medical foster, she learned ALL the things she had to do to help my body and my soul heal. My back end/sides were torn OPEN on each side, numerous bite marks and punctures and infection when she got me. I spent quite a bit of time at the rescue vet for debridement and treatment of the very serious infections and then she took me home and changed my dressings daily and then weekly and then no more dressings!! I am a very very sweet and cuddly boy. House/crate trained, great with other dogs and everyone I meet (except kitties- not a fan). I am a medium sized boy and I am ready for you!!! My ideal family will love and appreciate my survivor personality, my cuddly and happy temperament and will keep me safe from harm for as long as they are blessed to have me :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Say Hey to Amber. She is a 5 year old spayed Cattle dog mix. Amber came to us with her four babies Amber became very sick due to heartworms and was unable to care for them. The babies were bottle fed so we could treat Amber as soon as possible because that was her best chance for her and them. Amber went through two rounds of treatment and lots of meds. She just tested negative so now is her time to find a family to care and love her really that’s all she wants. She is housebroken. Crate trained. Amber prefers a calm house. She would love to be the only one but would be okay with a mellow friend. She really just wants to please you. Come meet this special girl today!
