Story
Check out our courageous Titan! He’s a rough collie born in March 2023 with a gorgeous caramel coat and a classic white mane. True to his name, Titan is a tall, lean, and athletic guy who weighs about 64 pounds. Like an athlete, he has a long stride and loves to race around, sprinting across the backyard in pursuit of acrobatic squirrels. He is not a big barker and is learning how to retrieve. Titan is a very active pup - always in motion and loves to run. As playful as he is, he’s also a relaxed and sweet boy. He is currently in a foster home where he enjoys the companionship of two other collies. Titan is also best friends with a one-year-old German shorthaired pointer in the neighborhood. They play hard every day. For this reason, Titan would be happiest in a home with another energetic dog to play with. Having a big yard to stretch out and run would be a bonus! Titan enjoys long hikes in the woods, walks nicely on a leash, and looks forward to meeting new people along the way. He did not have a lot of people in his early life, so he can be a little wary when meeting new people, but still remains calm and inquisitive. But once he adjusts, he is great and super friendly! He carries himself with confidence, but is never aggressive. Around his foster home, his favorite spot is on the sofa where it is comfortable and nearby a window where he can easily check out the neighborhood activity. He enjoys soft squeaky toys, and you'll have to watch him around socks and small plush toys. Ideally, he would do well in a home with older children rather than very young children. Titan is not a cuddler, but he loves companionship and follows his foster mom everywhere. Titan is thoroughly housebroken and crate-trained.
