Story
This beautiful fur girl (Collie mixed) is looking for her forever home. Unfortunately, life sucks, and sometimes we need to make tough decisions. The apartment where her family had to move into doesn't accept pets. I took her in for two weeks, but our Cane Corso doesn’t accept her. Stella is a good girl. She’s crate-trained; she’s good with other dogs and children. She doesn’t try to destroy anything. She loves naps on the coach with lots of pillows! She loves running in the yard, and when she’s tired, she goes into her cage. She loves her cage. I truly wish my male dog liked her. She made good friends with my female Rottweiler, they run and play like crazy.

Story
Macey is a beauty and a head turner with that defines the word fluffy dog. This 5 year old, 70 pound glamour girl is a Collie/Shepherd mix. She wa previously living with her humans on a farm and it was the most perfect life. A serene life where she lived on a farm nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee that offered her days of running in grassy fields, making friends with a few horses and having no cares in the world.  Macey’s human Dad passed away suddenly, and her human Mamma  is not in good health.  Her Mamma cried when she surrendered Macey to our rescue, but we promised to find that perfect lifestyle and serene setting again. This girl is very calm and gentle with an air of lady like  elegance.  Macey hasn’t had much experience on a leash, as she was used to the freedom of farm life, but she is a quick learner and aims to please.  Macey is housebroken,  UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, HW negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in this sweet girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
Roscoe is a handsome 2-year-old Collie mix who is spending time in a foster home and doing well. He enjoys getting out for walks and hikes and loves playing fetch. He is a very loving dog who adores his people. He is a big (70 lbs.), goofy guy who needs obedience training, so we think he would do best in a home with older kids. He prefers not to spend too much time alone and doesn't like being in a crate, so he would probably do best with someone who works from home or is around a lot. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our adoption fee for dogs ages 7 months – 7 years is $500. Dogs 8 years and up are $250. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both. All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
