Story
Location: Lynd, MN Hi! I'm Dandy! I came into foster with my mom& 6 siblings! I'm a super beautiful Shepard mix with the best looking ears around! I am potty trained& even kennel trained! Just make sure you cover my kennel or I will bark! Considering my age I am super well behaved! I am excited getting out of my kennel of when they get home, but I quickly calm down! The youngest kiddo is 3 here& I do a super great job of not jumping up on him or the other kids! I love to run around the huge yard my foster has with their resident dogs& other foster dogs! They also have cats here& I was initially interested, but now I pay no attention to them! I'm learning basic commands& rocking at it! I LOVE the dog bed here. It was someone else's, but I happily stole it& nobody has made me move! I love everyone! I've never even growled at another dog here. My mom was the sweetest& I think I really take after her! ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Beresford, SD This beautiful girl is Ina. Ina loves to play fetch and is house broken. Ina loves to play with the little kids of the house but mostly loves to hang out next to her foster mom the most. Ina does good with other dogs but is not a huge fan of cats as she just likes to chase them. Ina does great on a leash when walking but does not like being on a tie out so a fenced in yard where she can roam free will be best. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St Paul, MN Harper is learning about the good life in her foster home. She arrived to us very scared, but has blossomed into the sweetest, goodest girl. She is potty trained, smart, and food motivated so that will help a lot with training. She isn't a big fan of getting into her kennel but is just fine once she's in and has received a treat. I really do think she would be just fine to roam the house while we are gone and has proven as such when we have left her out for short errands. Harper is fantastic on a leash while wearing her harness. She stays right next to me and responds when I tell her "no or "leave it if she starts to show interest in a squirrel or bunny. She does not attempt to escape our fenced in yard and quietly sits at the door when she's ready to come in. She has not been around kids, but she has been just fine with our dogs and cats. She will sometimes stare at the cats and whine, but can be quickly redirected from a standoff. She has melted my heart in the few weeks we have had her with how much she has learned to trust and receive love. She will be an incredibly loving and loyal companion to her future family! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Minnesota Briar is the sweetest little guy. He is very shy around new people and asks for you to give him time to build trust. When he warms up to you he will give you plenty of love and kisses! He loves to curl up in your lap and loves to be hugged. Briar may be shy around people but he is a social butterfly when it comes to dogs! Briar is totally a dogs dog. He would thrive most in a home with another dog or 2, they help him learn the ropes and build his confidence! **Needs another dog in the home or a home that allows him to be social daily with another dog** ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Monticello, MN Hi there!! My name is Remington! My foster mom says that I will do anything for a treat, but can you blame me? Do you want to see my toys?? I love to play! No? Ok, then I will chew on my bone for a minute and take a nap, preferably on something soft like the couch or a pillow in my crate. Wait, are you going outside? Yes! I would love to go outside! I like to smell everything. I am pretty independent, so my foster mom is always chasing me around while I do my own thing. I really love to meet cats and dogs but I am very sensitive to how they are feeling. So if they are upset then so am I, but if they are friendly then we will get along! Remington is a super sweet boy and has been working hard on his training. He is very smart and has picked up basic commands from his older foster sister. He isn't the in-your-face-needy type (unless you have food), but he does want to be able to see his pet friends, so he follows his foster sister around the house to make sure she isn't getting into any trouble. He doesn't seem to care about his 2 cat foster sisters, but needs slow intro with other dogs. Once introduced, he is a great dog friend. He is almost potty trained and crate trained after only 1 week of being with his foster mom.
