Story
CODY LOVES SNUGGLES! Cody is a beautiful and doting puppy who was saved from euthanasia at a high kill shelter. He is a very affectionate and gentle little guy who is quite curious about the world around him. Though he may be a little shy at first, he warms up and is a devoted and loving companion. He currently lives in a household of 6 dogs and spends a lot of time at a well behaved dog park. There, we learned that he loves small dogs and gentle bigger dogs. Cody especially loves seeing the same people so that he can gain confidence and become friends with them. He enjoys snuggles, belly rubs, and car rides--especially when they lead to walks! Cody has a lot of love to give and is patiently waiting to find his forever home where he can be showered with love and affection. If you have love and patience in your heart and are looking for loyalty and snuggles in return, Cody is your guy. Please don't hesitate to reach out and meet Cody! The Dog House Rescue: Where good dogs go from lost to loved! www.thedoghouserescue.com doghouserescuenv@gmail.com call/text (775) 450-0687 Our Adoption Process 1. Begins with a simple online application to help us understand your needs and what you would like in your furry friend. 2. Next, we invite you to send us a virtual walk through of your home including where the dog will sleep, exercise, and stay when you are away. 3. We move forward with a meet and greet! Personal chemistry is important and both the adopter and pup need to be feelin’ it. If so we will make an appointment for drop off. 4. We deliver your new family member to your home where we all sign the adoption contract and you present proof of paid enrollment in a basic obedience course. If you need help finding a reputable trainer please ask us for recommendations!

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Zamara is almost 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 57 lbs. She was adopted from a shelter but surrendered as she was getting out of their yard (chainlink). She was reported that she was housebroken and dog door trained. She was very protective of her home and people. This includes while she is on a walk. She needs a home where the household does not have alot of people coming/going from the home. (single or couple) She is a door dasher. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Zamara, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
