** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Zamara is almost 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 57 lbs. She was adopted from a shelter but surrendered as she was getting out of their yard (chainlink). She was reported that she was housebroken and dog door trained. She was very protective of her home and people. This includes while she is on a walk. She needs a home where the household does not have alot of people coming/going from the home. (single or couple) She is a door dasher. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Zamara, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. A25439 Piglet is a white with black colored, approximately 1-year-old, 49-pound, neutered male, Heeler mix. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 02-03-2025 due to his aggressive behavior to other dogs. Piglet is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff describes him as a vocal, high-energy boy that loves people. He was easy to leash and excited to go for a walk. He is a hard puller on the leash and will need training on his leash manners. He will also need some command training as he does not respond to any commands. The previous owner says he is food aggressive and that he attacked other dogs at the dog park when he was playing with a ball or toy. He needs to be watched and trained on resource guarding. He showed no interest in other dogs here, walking right by dogs growling and barking at him from their kennel. We would recommend he be the only dog in the home and an adult only home due to the previous owner’s comments about his behavior. Piglet will be a fun-loving companion in his new forever home.

A25773 Cha Cha is a black and white colored, approximately 10-year-old, 38-pound, spayed female, Cattle dog mix. She entered the shelter as a stray on 02-18-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Cha Cha is a friendly, well-mannered girl here in the shelter. When you approach her kennel, she greets you with a happy tail wag, clearly excited to come out and meet you. Our staff describes her as a friendly, sweet and playful girl who loves affection. She was easy to leash and is well behaved during walks. She has had some training and will “sit” consistently and “shake” occasionally upon command. She shows interest in toys and playing when in our play yard. She is a bit dog reactive here at the shelter, barking and growling at other dogs. So, she will probably be best as the only dog in the home. Cha Cha will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.
