Story
Lucy has been with me since she was four months old and will turn 12 in April 2025. She's smart, gentle, and incredibly well-behaved. She knows sit, stay, lay down, shake, and various other commands—and will even wait for permission before eating. She's great off-leash, loves all people (including children), and gets along with other dogs and cats. As a lifelong solo dog, she should be the only dog, because that is what she is used to. She's low-energy, rarely barks, doesn't pull on her leash, and never jumps on people. Lucy is in excellent health, taking only a daily pain medication ($55/month) for arthritis in her legs, plus a dental bone and glucosamine supplement for joint support. She has had regular vet checkups, no history of major health issues, and is up to date on her care. Lucy is half rough collie (her dad was purebred) and half boxer mix. I am rehoming her because my mom is moving in with us and has severe allergies but cannot take medication.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a running companion or a hiking friend? Well, Bella is the girl for you. She loves going for long walks, running and playing. If you want a dog to train for agility, she’s the one. She is a very smart, sweet girl, who responds quickly to commands and will reward you with loyalty. Collies tend to be puppies for 2 years, so Bella needs a home to give her love and direction. Bella is house and kennel trained. She is spayed and current on all vaccines. She is looking forward to beginning a new adventure with an active, loving adopter. She especially wants and needs a home with a securely fenced (physical fence) yard to romp in.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 19, 2025, 6:07 pm

Story
Meet Cleopatra, our Saving Grace Egyptian Queen! With her regal looks and a touch of sass, she’s truly one-of-a-kind. Though sweet at heart, Cleopatra has a bit of a playful, independent streak—just like any queen should! She is a feist mix who is a perfect size at 32lbs. She is energetic and needs exercise. While we may not know her full story, it’s clear that she’s in need of some tender loving care. This beautiful girl is working on gaining weight and letting her tan and black coat grow into its full glory. The Saving Grace volunteers are dedicated to meeting all her needs, giving her the love and attention she deserves, and introducing her to leash walks and hiking. Cleopatra would thrive in a home that is eager for lots of puppy like fun! If you’re ready to share your heart with a queen in need, Cleopatra could be your perfect match! **Volunteer Dog Walk: "She is a social butterfly and got along with all the hikers and made a point to go up to every dog and say hi! She loved rolling in the grass and picking up sticks on our hike. She loved sniffing the trail and was good taking breaks when needed".
