They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. Hi! My name is Barnaby! I am a male Collie/Australian Kelpie mix approx. 7 months old and weigh around 20 Lbs. I was found off of Glenwick Dr. in Rockwall on 03/06/25 and never reclaimed by my owners. So now, I am available for adoption and looking for my furever family. I am a very sweet and playful boy. Since I am still a puppy, I will need plenty of training, patience and love as I acclimate to my new environment once adopted. I do walk on a leash, but I do not appear to have any formal leash training. I am very curious and love to play and explore new things. Based on my overall personality, I should do fine with other dogs as well as cats and children. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommended prior to adoption to make sure we get along before you take me home. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, boosters to date and heartworm negative. This handsome boy needs a very special human in his life as he just can not bring himself to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately but it is rare, he did not like his foster mom at all initially but now he is really loving and adoring with her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone and otherwise makes it clear he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with lots of other dogs and is especially playful with many of the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners which is great because he hates being in a crate.He needs a home without a lot of people coming and going and/or with a place he can be away from people that do not live with him and no young children. His perfect home would be his human and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them.
