Story
PUPDATE... I just moved to Connecticut so you can easily meet me, fall in love, and take me home! Hi there, I am an extremely sweet and nice boy named Charlie. I am about 1-½ years old, 30.4 lbs and I'm a Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi mix. I was a stray dog at the San Antonio Animal Shelter, just biding my time, wondering what my chances were of getting outta that joint when 4 Little Paws Rescue decided I could do better than Texas. My new foster mom brought me home and I think has been madly in love with me ever since. She keeps petting and snuggling me, giving me kisses, and telling me what a good boy I am and she's right. Not to toot my own horn, but I am a keeper. A family-friendly, dog-friendly sweetheart. I love to play and run Zoomies but I’m not bonkers. I have a medium-low energy level, calm and easygoing and I love my people. I love doggy toys, walks to the park, and rides in the car. I am well-behaved and housetrained, learned to use a doggy door in just 1 day, and when my foster mom leaves the house I like to sit in a chair near the window and watch for her return. When she walks in, it’s like I haven't seen her in years I’m so happy turning in circles and wagging like crazy. I’m just as sweet as can be and I am ready for the best and final chapter of my story… meeting my new family and proudly wearing my new dog collar adorned with my name and your phone number, hint-hint. East Coast families, inquire about me today, and let's get this party started! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Meet Happy❤️ He spent a long time trapped behind the fence of an old junkyard in South Korea. For over a year, a concerned civilian cared for him while the owner neglected him. After the junkyard was shut down, the owner abandoned him. The civilian continued to advocate for his rescue, and eventually, Adogs stepped in to help. Happy is now residing at the Adogs Center and received training to improve his social skills with other dogs . * With People: Is shy at first, but once he warms up, he constantly seeks attention, rolling over to show his belly. Is a sweetheart who loves having his butt patted. * With Dogs: Is a bit cautious when meeting new dogs, especially in his space. Is not very interested in the dogs he shares the Center with, but will occasionally confronts them if they irritate him. * With Cats: Struggles to get along well with cats and sometimes shows signs of aggression, so it is best to avoid interactions with them. * Separation Anxiety: Is not confirmed as he has not been left alone at the Center. Stays very well with other dogs, and occasionally barks to greet them when inside his kennel. * Potty training: : Prefers to go potty outdoors 100%. May have marking issue indoors. * Hygiene: Tolerates grooming, baths and drying well when with people.☺️ Is an active dog who doesn’t enjoy staying still for brushing, but handles it very well. * Walks: Enjoys walks and stays in step with a walker without pulling on the leash. Loves sniffing around outdoors and tends to leave his scent! * Car sickness: Does not get car sick. * Due to his ravenous appetite, Happy tends to eat quickly. When eating too fast, he may bite the hand on which treat has been placed, so it's important to help him eat slowly. He can become possessive when treats are given in the same area as other gogs, so it's best to feed him separately! * Occasionally barks at outside noises but quickly stops when you call his name.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Victor🩷 Victor was discovered in a field of pebbles, tied with an ill-fitted collar and rescued by a Adogs volunteer. When she was rescued, she appeared terrified, surrounded by rotting food that had accumulated over time. However, she was rapidly turned around and showed signs of relief and tail-wagging as she warmed up. Is doing well with the foster family who is giving lots of care and affection. * With People : Initially barks a bit when strangers visit home but turns s a cutie when being petted, coming next to them and displays affection. Is so fond of being touched that she immediately lies down and exposes her tummy when familiar people touch her. Enjoys being by their side. * With Dogs: Gets along well and sleeps together with the dog who lives at her foster home. Gets greedy from time to time but doesn’t bite! Assumes a defensive stance and she raises her hackles when she encounters other dogs while walking. Is receiving training in desensitization to get along with other dogs. * With Cats: Tends to be excited, but the excitement level is lower than when encuntering dogs. * Separation Anxiety: When left alone, she appears nervous a lot. Occasionally howls or makes pee mistakes when left alone. Is getting training and improving step by step. Displays no separation anxiety as long as she is with other dogs or even strangers. * Potty Training: Is so smart that she can use the potty pads even in a new environment. Is adept at indoor potty but prefers going out to do potty. * Hygiene: Likes baths and enjoys being brushed! Is really scared of getting her ears cleaned, so she wears a neck collar when she gets it done. Shows defensive biting when her nails are trimmed so they are being worn down with regular walks. * Walks: Is a super skillful walker who can walk at a controlled pace. Tends to pull on the leash at the start of walks or when other dogs, cats, or birds pass by, so caution is necessary. * Car Sickness: Has become much mitigated with her car sickness. Becomes nervous if she is separated from humans in the car and wants to sit on their lap. 💟 Special Notes💟 * Mastered several commands such as 'Sit, Lie Down, Turn Around, Paw, Wait, House, Kiss, Cool, Nose, and Come Here'. * Rarely barks! Barks on the rare occasions but stops barking when she is told to sit. * Is greedy with her food and fights may occur, so she must be fed separately from other dogs. ❗❗Health Condition * Spayed. * Others: heartworm negative upon retest. 💙 Foster's Instagram : @victor_victorydog

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK💟 Meet Tree 🌳 Tree was discovered living in an industrial yard where she gave birth to Eunhaeng and her siblings. The workers at the yard fed her, but one day, Eunhaeng was hit by a car and urgently rescued by Adogs. Tree was subsequently taken to a shelter. Eunhaeng has since been adopted by a family living in Abbotsford, BC, and fortunately, Tree was also rescued and is now receiving care at ADOGS Center. * Interaction with People: Tree is affectionate with familiar people, often approaching for patting. She is shy around strangers due to limited socialization. * Interaction with Dogs: She plays better with male dogs and may show aggression towards similarly sized female dogs. She is shy around new dogs. * Separation Anxiety: None; she manages well alone. * Potty Training: Currently living in ADOGS center, Tree only practices outdoor potty. * Hygiene: Unfamiliar with baths and nail trimming but is learning. * Walking: Unfamiliar with walking on a leash, gradually being introduced to it. *Health Status: Finished treatment for heartworm infection. Adorable Bambi might hop a bit on only three legs, but she'll hop right into your heart. She's 28 pounds and a year old, and Bambi loves everyone (and all pups!). She's housetrained and learning to love her crate, but really just wants to cuddle up on the couch with her people. Bambi is still very nervous being outside so she'll need patient people and maybe a canine friend to help her learn how much fun walks can be! Adopters interested in Bambi can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. If you're not approved yet, apply today at hbrdogs.com!
