Story
This darling baby boy is now a little over 12wks old and he’s ready for his own forever home. He is a very outgoing, friendly little guy so he’d do best in a socially active home. He is also very affectionate so lots of cuddle time is required. He currently weighs approx 13lbs or so and should be about 20lbs or so when full grown. Typical of the husky breed, he can be a very active puppy and he’s always up for an adventure. A fenced yard would be best. He is also very smart boy that learns quickly whatever it is you’re trying to teach him, so continued training games are a must. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes so another playmate in the home would be great, but it’s not required. He gets along with kitties, too. Because of his age and activity level, kids must be over 10yrs old. A dog experienced home is required.  If you are interested in meeting this adorable little guy please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number. Interested adopters should email info@k9rr.org to request an application. Once complete, the application can be returned via email and quickly reviewed. If approved, we then invite potential adopters to visit with one or more of the dogs that interest them. If the meet and greet goes well, we encourage a week long 'trial adoption' to ensure a good match. During that week we communicate often and are available for support and guidance, via phone or email, 24/7.Unless otherwise specified, K9 R&R adoption fees range from $350-$500 and include all vetting and microchip. We also provide ongoing training tips and help as needed, for the life of the dogs.K9 R&R is a non-profit, volunteer based organizationJuly 14, 2024, 2:00 pm

Story
Mabel is a great dog with lots of energy that I, unfortunately, do not have the time for. She is super smart, sweet and playful and would be happiest with a big yard. She is crate trained, house trained and knows several commands. She does have some resource guarding issues which is why I am not sure that she would be good with kids (although she absolutely loves kids). The $100 fee includes a very nice crate, washable pet bed, two leashes and some toys.

Story
Meet 4-year-old Winston. He needs a calm environment home, with somebody the can and will be with him most of the time.(Not leave him for an 8-hour shift) He travels in the car well. He will let you know when somebody's at your door. He is looking for his forever companion. This will be the third time he's been rehomed. Due to children and due to two German shepherds ganged up on him and put him in the hospital but he's all better now. He is always smiling. He is the sweetest little dog. He will sit or lay with you all day. He does love his walks He has anxiety. Kids make him nervous especially when they rough house. Please only inquire if you can accommodate his needs Thank you
