GOOFY IS A SWEET, HEALTHY, FUN LOVING LITTLE GIRL. HE IS HE IS HEAD STRONG, SOMETIMES HARD TO CATCH IN THE HOUSE AMD I AM HAVING TROUBLE TRAINING HIM. I AM 72, YEARS OLD AND CANNOT KEEP UP WITH HIM. SOMETIMES HE USES P PADS AND SOMETIMES HE DOESN'T. HE WOULD BE A WONDERFUL LOVING PET FOR SOMEONE WHO IS A MUCH BETTER TRAINER THAN I AM. I LOVE HIM AND WISH HE FIT IN BETTER THAN OUR LIFESTYLE. HE IS VERY SHY AND WARY OF STRANGERS. A MOST CHIHUAHUA TRAIT.

Meet Trout, an approximately 4-year-old male Catahoula mix. Trout came to the shelter as a stray and after not being claimed, he is now up for adoption. Trout seems like he has not had the proper care in a while. We are working on getting him brushed out, but from the looks of his coat he will really benefit from good food and regular brushing. From what we have observed, Trout is a total lovebug with people! Trout would be best as an only dog in the home. Trout is UTD on his DAPP and Bordetella and is neutered, microchipped and had his rabies vaccination. Meet Copper, an approximately 1-year-old male Hound mix. Copper was brought to the shelter as a stray and, after completing his stray hold with nobody claiming him, Copper is now up for adoption. Copper is a bit skittish when he first meets you, and takes time to feel comfortable with new people. While we don’t believe he was mistreated, he definitely lacks training and socialization. Copper has been friendly with most of the dogs we’ve introduced him to, but he is not comfortable on a leash yet. Copper has been neutered, microchipped and received his rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Meet Catfish, an approximately 1-year-old female Pitbull mix. When Catfish came to the shelter, her owner never came in to claim her and now she is up for adoption. Catfish loves people, belly rubs, and playing ball. She always wants to be with her people and does not like feeling left out. We have not had the chance to test Catfish with other dogs so a meet and greet will be necessary if there are other dogs in the home. Hi, my name is Snow White. I arrived at the shelter with my seven 3-day-old puppies on 10/24/24. The "seven dwarfs" are now old enough to find their new homes, so I, too, am looking for my new home. The shelter staff have been told that I lived in a home with other dogs and a cat, and that I got along well with all of them until my puppies were born. Understandably, I got protective of my puppies and did attack a cat. The staff at the shelter has yet to test me around other dogs, as I still have some of my puppies here with me and still seem to be protective of them. A meet and greet with any potential future fur-siblings will be required prior to me being adopted out.I am a sweet girl. I will soon be spayed and brought up to date on my core vaccinations, and I am house trained. Meet Cash, an approximately 1-year-old male German Shepherd mix. Cash came to the shelter with her friend, Rhode, and is now looking for a new home. Cash has a really fun personality! He needs a minute to warm up, but then he is great with people. He does really well with his friend, Rhode, but a meet and greet will be necessary if you have any other dogs in the home. Cash has the sweetest face and a personality to match it, we just know he is going to be a great dog for someone. Cash is UTD on his Bordetella and DAPP vaccines and has an appointment for his microchip, neuter and rabies vaccination at Chino Valley Animal Hospital on 01/03/25.
