Story
Jade is a female 7-year-old German Shepard Lab Mix who loves to take naps, eat treats, and be cuddled. She is a sweet, comforting, and gentle companion. She is sometimes shy when meeting new people but quickly adapts to comforting energy. Her favorite toy is her green squeaky crocodile. Her favorite activity is spending time in the sun at the park and playing at the beach. Jade is great with dogs of any size and age. Additionally, Jade is great with children. She has never had any incidents of biting. Jade is also spayed and potty trained. The previous owner of Jade could no longer commit to taking care of Jade so I took the initiative to find her a new home. Jade is a great addition to add to the family. She also makes for a loyal watch guard to have your back anywhere you go- even at home :)

Story
We adopted our Golden Retriever, Panda, as a puppy in 2017 and treated him like our child. He’s a loving, gentle dog who enjoys playing fetch and running on the beach. However, our lives have changed—we now have two young children and both work two jobs to afford living in California. We can no longer give Panda the time and attention he needs. Panda is a happy, friendly dog who has never been aggressive. Last year, he recovered from surgery for a mast cell tumor and is expected to have about seven more years to live. We’re looking for a new owner who can provide Panda with the active, loving home he deserves. No adoption fee is required, but a donation to a dog rescue organization would be appreciated. We hope to find a young person without children, or someone whose children are grown. Please consider giving Panda a loving home and send us occasional photos to keep us updated on how he’s doing. Thank you.

Story
HI - I'M SANDY! I'm a 6-year-old sweet & chubby snuggler girl who needs a home! I'm currently in a foster home in Santa Barbara, though I may need a new foster home soon as the cat doesn't like me much. I've been waiting for over a year for someone to choose me. I love to cuddle, hang out and watch TV, and go for walks, hikes, and other adventures. I do well with some dogs (I used to live in a home with a female dog), but prefer people to other dogs so I can get all of the attention. If you're looking for a snuggler, someone to share your bed and hug, I'm it! I truly am a lap dog, and I crave human attention and affection. I'm also super happy, and am just waiting for my person or people to come along. I weigh about 56 lbs. and am a little chubby, so need to go on a diet. Can you foster or adopt me?
