Story
Chacha is a bouncy little girl who came from a difficult situation, in a home with over 100 other little dogs.  She seems so happy to be getting attention and wags her tail whenever she hears her name!  Loves to snuggle. She is an excellent jumper and might have a future in agility. Chacha is working on her leash skills, but seems to be housebroken.  She is about 10 pounds (though she could stand to gain a little weight), about 2 years old and cute as can be!   She is now up to date on all her vaccines and has been spayed. Chacha definitely prefers female humans, but loves other dogs of all varieties! Applications for Chacha are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.November 22, 2024, 5:37 pm

Story
Jorah is a good boy and he knows it!  Easy going and usually has a smile on his face.  He is about 7 years old, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.  Jorah is good with other dogs and with cats and great in the car too.  He weighs about 25 pounds.  All he needs is a home of his own!  Jorah would do best in a home where the humans or other fuzzy friends are around most of the time as he has minor separation anxiety (he cries).   Applications for Jorah are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.November 7, 2024, 8:51 am

Story
Tobin is a sweet boy, about 6 years old and 13 pounds.   He is learning what it means to be spoiled by his foster mom. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Housebroken (outdoors and/or pee pads), loves the bath, happy to meet both new people and other dogs.  Good on a leash and enjoys long walks.  Pretty quiet.  Would be a great senior companion.  Possibly a mix of Cairn Terrier and Corgi as well as Chihuahua.  Major lap hog.   Applications for Tobin are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions. We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes. December 16, 2024, 9:16 pm

Story
Judah is a little terrier boy who came to us quite a mess. We are getting him cleaned up, taking care of his dental needs and other minor medical issues. He seems incredibly grateful to be in rescue, in a clean warm bed with food, water and toys at his disposal. Judah's records say that he is 6, but we believe he is a little older. He weighs ten pounds and so far has been very low energy. Not quite sure what type of terrier he is, but little to no shedding! Very sweet and friendly, Judah would make an excellent senior companion. Applications for Judah are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions. We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes. January 16, 2025, 8:32 pm

Story
Meet Albus!  We think he is a magical goat, but our vet insists he is a terrier!  Albus has long eyebrows and a beard and is set to be an icon.  We are still getting to know this little boy, but have found that he is very sweet, curious, and fine in a home with other dogs.  He weighs 12 pounds and we are guessing he is about 8 years old (maybe a little younger).  As we get to know him, we are catching him up on his medical needs, including vaccines, testing, a neuter and a dental.   More info to come, but put your applications in now to meet him! www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.January 11, 2025, 10:02 pm

Story
Jenny is an 8 year old active mini-poodle. She has long legs and a classic poodle silhouette.  Jenny weighs 12 pounds, is housebroken, is good with other dogs and most cats.  Her beautiful grey-brown fur doesn't even shed! We are catching her up on all her medical needs including a spay and dental, as well as vaccines and testing. Jenny would do best in a home where her person is either home most of the time or will take Jenny with him or her (she gets very attached and hates to be left behind).  Active seniors take note- Jenny would be the perfect companion! Applications for Jenny are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.   We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.  January 23, 2025, 9:34 am
