Story
4/30/24  3 year old DD is still waiting for her furever family. This sweet and quiet girl has come such a long way with our incredible foster after being found in Miami left to fend for herself for months. She loves playing fetch with her foster brother, loves playing with her kong tovs and taking in all the smells on her walks. She loves her crate and is a very easy and calm dog. DD thrives and is playful in the company of other dogs so another dog is a must for DD as well as a very secure fenced in yard. She needs a patient and understanding adopter who will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Because she is so auiet and calm she is ideal for someone who works from home. Won't you take a chance on DD? She has been waiting a super long time. 3/5/24.   DD is improving every day. She is a sweet, low maintenance, quiet girl who will be a perfect playmate for another pup. She loves to play with other dogs and is learning to play with dog toys and becoming more affectionate with humans. Fence required for our previously stray pups.  1/12/24. She is a sweet, quiet and gentle girl who was found wandering alone in Miami fending for herself.  She  is learning to trust humans again with help of her foster brother Ollie.  She walks nicely on a leash.  She likes other dogs, big and small and is quite playful with them. Unknown about cats . A patient loving adopter who understands her and gives her time to trust will be ideal adopter for this beauty.   12/9/23  DD. This beautiful shy young dober girl was wandering the Redlands alone for months before being rescued by DRL. Who knows what suffering she may have endured. She is very sweet and timid, but with love and patience will flourish. She will do wonderfully with a dog. She kissed other dogs through the fence and likes both males and females. 8/6/23 Found in Redlands, trapped and very frightened.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
3/22/24  Nike is still here. He is an incredibly smart, driven, 5 year old male. He is food motivated and is a fast learner. He is looking for a home that can help him reach his full potential as he is very smart and eager to please. He is obsessed with balls and will carry them around. He seems fine around other dogs, non reactive, unknown about cats.   2/15/24. Meet NIKE. This 5 year old good looking dober boy came to us from the shelter so we don’t know a lot about his back story.  We are still getting to know him, but he is very sweet and docile and non reactive to other dogs.  He loves his treats and will catch them mid air, he also loves balls and will carry around tirelessly. Even if he gets a treat he will still hang on to the ball while getting the treat.  He keeps a clean kennel and seems eager to please.  Cats unkown.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
5/9/24.  Gorgeous one year old Leo is looking for his forever home.  Leo loves to play with all the volunteers at the rescue, loves to play in the water and likes going for long walks.  He is super sweet and affectionate. He enjoys playing with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in his home.  No cats for Leo.  He likes children but since he can sometimes be wary of new people coming in his home he would be best suited for adult only home.   He will make a loving loyal companion to the right family.  4/27/24. Meet Leo! This adorable 1 year old Dobie boy is looking for his furever family.  Leo is a volunteer favorite at the rescue as he loves playing with everyone and is super sweet.  He gets along great with other dogs outside but in his home he prefers to be the only dog.  He is not a big fan of cats.  Leo can sometimes be wary of meeting new people so needs an experienced doberman owner who understands the breed and their quirks and can help him  overcome this. He is incredibly smart, eager to please and very loving.  He will make a great addition to the right family. 1/4/24. Welcome Leo to DRL he is a love bug and is ready for a new home. 5/20/24 update.  Three year old OBI wants to know what y'all got against blues! This super intelligent stunning Doberman is still waiting for his furever family. OBI was a beloved family member and loyal companion for 3 years before coming to the rescue thru no fault of his own. OBI loves to play fetch, he likes to dunk his toys in the water and go for long walks. He likes other dogs with proper introduction and has lived with another dog, but now would be best as only dog in his home. He is very smart and eager to please. He is friendly and charming to everyone he meets. He forms very strong bonds to his people. He is crate trained and will walk himself into his crate when tired. OBI would thrive in a Doberman/ large breed savvy adult only home with someone that can exercise both his mind and body. PLEASE SHARE OBI ... he needs you to help him find his furever HOME!!!. Thanks, Love OBl 4/11/24  OBI is a remarkable gorgeous Doberman boy that finds himself in need of a new home thru no fault of his own.  OBI is incredibly smart, eager to please and learn new tricks.  He loves playing fetch, going on long walks and being near his owner at all times. He will walk himself into his crate at night when he is tired and wait for command to be told to eat.  He gets along with other dogs big and little with proper introduction.  Would do best with another female or as an only dog. Ideal home for him would be with Doberman savvy or big dog experienced owner who will allow him to reach his full potential.  As Obi has not lived with children or cats we prefer not to put him in that situation.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
