Story
Hello! I'm Reagan, a 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound mix who came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my previous owner could no longer care for me. I am a bit shy at first, but once we get to know each other, I will be your best companion. I get along well with children 5 years or older, however, I request to be the only four-legged friend in the home, as I love being the center of attention! I promise to fill your schedule with playful adventures and cozy cuddles. I am spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to meet you today! I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.

Story
Even though his name suggests royalty, King is a pretty down to earth guy. He only asks for a soft spot to lay his head, a yard to zoom in, and a family to love him. This 2 year old Retriever mix came to the Kentucky Humane Society when his owner could no longer care for him. It took a bit for King to trust all these new people but once he warmed up we could see his silly personality. King loves to do zoomies in the yard and will happily entertain himself with all the smells. He will lean against you for pets and almost wiggle himself in half. King hasn't experienced living with dogs or cats, so we don't know how he will do. We encourage you to bring your pup for a meet and greet if you think King is the dog for you. King appears potty trained and loves going on car rides to the drive-thru. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Story
Hello! I'm Zeus, an 11-month-old Terrier/American Pitbull mix who came to the Kentucky Humane Society as my owner could no longer care for me. I am a bit of a wallflower, so it will take some time for me to warm up to a new family. However, once I start getting used to a forever family, I will wiggle and jiggle my way into your heart! I am a fun loving, curious boy that needs a patient family to love me, and in return, I'll give you all the puppy kisses and cuddles in the world! I prefer to be the only pet in the home, as I love being the center of attention! I'd also enjoy having a meet and greet with any children I'd be living with. I am neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so come meet me today! I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.

Story
Lancelot is a whole lotta puppy with SO much love to give. He adores playing with other dogs and would do well with a canine sibling to help him learn the ropes. Because he's just a baby, Lancelot will need some guidance from his humans as he learns how to navigate the big world we live in. But he's eager to learn and promises to repay your patience with TONS of snuggles and kisses!Learn more about our friends at Oxmoor Auto Group here: https://www.oxmoorautogroup.com/khs-pet-week/

Story
Hi there! My name is Sweet Tart, and I'm looking for my paw-fect family. Could that be with you? To tell you more about myself, I'm four years old and like making new human friends! The staff at KHS are still learning all about me, but so far have said that I am living up to my name and I'm sweeter than sugar. The staff has given me some really cool toys, and it turns out that I love to play! I'm also a super big fan of taking long naps in warm sunny spots, especially if there is a squishy bed for me to lay in. I can be a little hesitant when meeting new people, but once I warm up to you I am your very best friend! I'm not really sure how I feel about feline or canine friends just yet. If you're interested in adding an adorable, happy, lovable pup to your family, come meet me today! I'm spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. All I'm missing is you!I spent some time on the road, but a kind person took me to the Kentucky Humane Society. I am finished with my rambling ways and am ready to find a loving home.
