Story
Hi! My name is Taz! I'm a very playful two year old puppy! I LOVE everyone and everything. Sometimes though I love a little too much which can lead to me jumping up on people, or trying to be a lap dog (I'm 45 lbs!) I am a herding dog so I do love to herd small animals and kids. Sometimes my playful spirit gets me into trouble because I require a lot of exercise and activities to keep me from getting bored. I'm a huge cuddler and love to give doggie kisses! I'll always be super excited to see you even if you were only gone ten minutes! I could really use an active pet parents with a big backyard and maybe some doggy brothers or sisters to play with!

Story
This pretty girl is our longest term resident. Intake date 7/15/2020. Marley female Labrador Retriever mix DOB 7-15-13. Marley is such a sweet girl- just look at that face! She loves the water and would be great for hiking and camping. She will be your forever friend for a ball or squeeky toy. She may be a little picky about her dog friends, so she'd need to meet any potential new sibling before adoption. She may be older but she's young at heart! She's currently in foster, if you'd like to schedule to meet her, give us a call at the shelter! 417-272-8113. Check out her news interview! https://www.ky3.com/2024/07/10/leighs-lost-found-digital-extra-meet-sweet-dog-tri-lakes-humane-society-four-years/ A note from her current foster mother: It's been 2 weeks since this sweet girl entered our home. Usually after a week their true personality starts to show and what a blessing she has been. You would never know that Marley has spent the past nearly 4 years in Tri-Lakes Humane Society Missouri or that she is almost 11 years old! She has bonded so quickly, says hi to our neighbors as we walk the community, is totally comfortable being home alone...but truly her favorite place is lying right at my feet when we are home. She was like a fish in water - never missing a beat from the moment she entered our home as if she has not had a super long residence in the shelter. No accidents in the house, shows she has been superbly trained with exceptional house manners...she lays by the table when we eat, no begging, would love to play fetch whenever we can, loves going walking for miles, sleeps through the night on her bed next to ours. We can't say enough about this beautiful Lab mix girl except that we need to try everything possible to get her a forever home. She will make someone a wonderful loving and loyal pet who brings joy, calm and fun to the family that opens their heart to her.
