Story
Lucien was found abandoned on the Highway, we believe he was dumped there. He is a sweet boy who enjoys car rides and snuggles. Lucien is house trained, knows how to lay down, sit and shake. He appears to be crate trained but he has not been crated much during his short time with us.

Story
We rescued Moxey half starved from somebody who told us she was good with cats and small animals. She is not. As we have several cats, we sadly need to find Moxey a new forever home. Previous owner told us Moxey is a Belgian Malinois / Shepherd Mix. If so, she shouldn't get over 55 pounds. She currently stands about a foot tall at the shoulder and weighs about 15 pounds. Aside from the cat issue, we are finding Moxey to be smart, trainable, very affectionate and quite the character. She is crate trained, walks on a leash, knows sit / come / down / den (to go to her crate) and is pretty much house broken with only a few minor accidents. She loves to cuddle in laps and get tummy rubbings. She is good with dogs both big and small, and is playing very well with our little Shi Tzu pup. She would make a wonderful addition to a family. She has had her first set of shots, is scheduled for her second set, and has been vet checked. She will come with leash, collar, crate, food, toys, etc.

Story
Quiet, calm, friendly, loving, and playful adult dog looking for a home. Wonderful dog with small kids, other dogs, and pretty much everyone. Only problem is he will kill chickens. I imagine he has the same problem with other birds, rabbits, other small pets of that nature. Great with the mini schnauzer we have. In a home with his brother, another large dog we are hoping to re-home who has the same issue. His brother looks just like a catahoula. Shots are up to date, we've never had an issue when they stay for a week or so at a doggy hotel, and they seem to be past their destructive phase. They are definitely outdoor dogs, and would be best on a large patch of land. They do like to dig. They have been out and around our cow without any issues. If they didn't kill chickens, we would keep them, as they are amazing dogs. They are crate and potty trained. They know how to sit and stay.

Story
This sweet little guy was dumped on our property a little over a week ago and I have exhausted all options to find him a home. Suspected to be about 6 months old so he is still very young and we think he is some kind of shepherd/collie mix. We are unable to take on another dog and we will be going out of town next weekend. He is the sweetest thing. Will follow you everywhere, loves to sit on your lap, super smart/obedient, and loves to play. We have 2 other dogs that he gets along fine with. He hasn’t tried to go after our barn cat, but our cat also hides most of the time. He deserves the best home. I would keep him if I had the time and resources to take on a 3rd dog. He will need flea/tick treatment since he was dumped with ticks already on him.

Story
Babe is 10 years old, she spent some time tied up with no shelter and little food or water. Thankfully some one interceded for her and she came into rescue. In spite of what she has endured Babe is very loving, gives kisses and loves to be with her person. Babe is quite happy to sleep in bed with you and makes a good couch potato buddy:)   Because Babe was without resources for some time she prefers not to share her food with other dogs. Because she is a senior girl she prefers a quiet home, and to be the only one and get all of the attention.  Babe is not a candidate for a home with children, small dogs or cats.  For more information or to fill out an application please email: ozarksummer@yahoo.comJuly 13, 2024, 12:26 pm
