Story
Hello everyone! Chino is a little over a year old and loves nothing more than to cuddle and play with whatever humans are around. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and dabbled in basic commands (sit, waiting for his owner to give him the "come" before leaving the house on a walk). Speaking of walks, he also is a great companion for those that like walking as it's one of his favorite things to do (he also has pretty good leash manners that came to him naturally). I've had Chino for over 6 months now and I sadly have to part ways with him. What are the reasons why such a nice nice dog needs to be re-hommed? Well Chino is a very high energy dogs and there have been a few (three) incidents over the last six months where he has accidently knocked over my 18 month old. These were all accidents where he got excited and wasn't aware of his surroundings. With another child on the way sadly i have to find him a new home. Any other questions contact me and I'm free to answer whenever 😁

Story
Hi, I'm Zena. I'm a very sweet girl; all the volunteers at the shelter will vouch for that. I do have to get to know you a little because I'm a bit on the shy side, but it doesn't take long for me to make friends. Also, I suffer from separation anxiety. This means that when you're home with me I'm a great companion, sweet and well-behaved. However, if you leave me I must be left outside of the house in a fenced yard. It's okay, I like being outside as long as I have some shelter from the extreme weather; a doghouse in the winter and shade in the summer. I also need a home with a 6 ft. privacy fence because I like to climb chain-link fences. I know the right person will come my way and then it will be just like in the movies, happily ever after. Are you my way to happily ever after?

Story
Hi, my name is Kimmie. I’ll bet you can see in my picture that I’m a sweet girl at heart. I started out in a prison training program. It was great because I was learning all kinds of things to make me an even better friend. However, they discovered that I have seizures. Because of this, they could not keep me in the program. That’s how I ended up at M’Shoogys. However, this isn’t the best place for me either. What I really need is a good home with good people who understand I have special needs and don’t mind giving me medicine to control my seizures. When I’m confused I also tend to want to bite so I can’t go to a home with small children as they don’t know about giving me my space. If you have a big heart full of love and understanding and want to take care of a dog that really needs it; I’m the one for you! Those adopting Kimmie could get her medication at Angel’s Vet at our cost.

Story
Hi, my name is McCoy; and, yes, I’m the real thing! I’m a very friendly dog that would make a great buddy. You wouldn’t necessarily know it at first because I tend to be guarded. The staff thinks someone may have abused me because of the way I tend to react sometimes. But, despite that, I really want to trust. I like to go on walks, and runs, but I also like to sit quietly too. So, whether you’re an active person or a take-it-easy kind of person, I’m the right one for you! Not sure? Come meet me and I’m sure you’ll be convinced.

Story
Hi, I'm Oliver. My buddy Olivia (dog804) and I ended up at M'Shoogys after the sheriff called about two dogs running loose along the highway, we'd been dumped. It's something that happens way too often unfortunately. I don't understand how someone could have abandoned us. We're good dogs that just want to be loved. I'm a little shy but, can you blame me? Trust isn't immediate, but it doesn't take too long for me to warm up. All I need is a chance. Will you give me a chance?

Story
Hi, I'm Tate. I'm a friendly dog with some skills; I can sit for my treat. That means at some point I belonged to someone who cared and taught me some manners. Boy, I would love to belong to someone again. I like to pay ball, but my current ball has seen better days. It sure would be great if I got a new home and a new ball. Hey, if you're going to dream, dream big! And, if you're the kind of person who likes to make dreams come true, we'd make a perfect pair!
