Story
Hi! 🐾 I'm Pebbles and I'm now accepting applications for my adoption! I'm about 46 pounds and almost 2 years old. I'm super shy and really not sure about these whole hooman creatures...I mean who only walks on two legs?! I am slowly starting to think hoomans aren't so bad, they bring me lots of yummies. I'm still very hesitant and nervous with a leash on me...or anything on me for that matter. My survival instincts are very strong still, but I'm less shy than when I first arrived here and want to play with the two-leggeds, just not sure I can yet. I LOVE playing with other dogs and that's when you see my personality the most. I have 3 foster siblings that I enjoy playing with, especially in all the snow we got recently! I'd love to have at least one new sibling in my future home, maybe even two or three! I'm almost fully potty trained and prefer to do my business outside, even in the snow and rain. I do enjoy a good soft toy, blankets and some chew bones. I do like herding cats, so I need to be around dog savvy cats or no cats in my future home. 🐱 I'm spayed, up to date on shots, and a healthy pup! I'm going to need a very gentle and patient adopter who can give me the time I need to warm up to the two-leggeds. If I could be the dog version of a pasture pony I'd be pretty happy. Although with enough time I think I might enjoy house life and maybe even some snuggles. I'm still processing all the trauma from my past life of having to survive on my own amongst 90 other brothers, sisters, cousins and everything in-between, so I need gentleness, calm and kindness from my future family. Check out my bio on our website with the link below! If you or someone you know would be interested in me fill out an application on the adopt page! https://www.herdingheartsresq.com/.../red-bhtzf-5wfn6-mppwp

Story
11 month old German shepherd/Aussie shepherd/Poodle mix. Was rescued from a bad situation where she was left outside 24/7 with rusty pans for food and water. She is now potty and crate trained. Knows outside, sit, no, good girl, leave it, wait, and her release word is okay. She is learning that her cue to lie down is Platz (German for lie down). I have only had her for a short while but she has learned VERY quickly! She is very shy, sweet and happy-go-lucky, will always be happy to see you come home! She is very good with kids and small dogs, but does have the tendency to smack with her paws when she’s happy or playful. I need her to find a good home with an BIG yard for her to run in and can sell her indoor crate with her; all toys and remaining food come free! Her adoption fee is for all her vet visits with me. Currently up to date on all shots! Would like her to meet you first as she is very shy, especially with men.

Surrendered by her owner to a shelter, she’s now in foster care in Fishers, Indiana, and thriving as she waits for her forever family. ✨ About Gertie • Personality: Playful, affectionate, and friendly. Gertie loves walks, fetch, and a little game of keep-away. At night, she’s a perfect lady, quietly curling up on the couch for some well-earned rest. • Kid-Friendly: She’s been great with small children she’s met and would be a wonderful family companion. • Other Pets: Gertie enjoys playing with her foster brother, Toby, though she’s a bit shy with his loud barks. She’d do best with calm dogs and no cats or small dogs due to unknown compatibility. ✨ Health & Training • House-trained and crate-trained. • Up to date on vaccinations. • Needs spaying and microchipping before adoption.
