Story
8 month old Irish Setter pup is on her way to being house broken. Will require patience and positive reinforcement. She has come a long way with crate training and is working to master commands like Sit, Dowm, Crawl, Come and Heel. She plays and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, however I dont recommend her with small dogs. Especially outside. She doesn't walk well on a leash yet, but I will continue to work with her until she finds her forever home. She just isn't playing nice with my small dog at times and I find it unfair to keep her. She needs a home where she can be included all the time. Very sweet girl, likes to cuddle on the couch and loves attention. She isn't food aggressive but will guard her chew from other dogs. Come meet her if you think she's right for you. She's got a lot of energy. Please research the breed before you come see her. She comes with all her vet records, food, some toys, a crate and her leash.

I was surrendered to THS after my owner could no longer care for me and I am ready to find my furever home!My previous owner`s describe me as a very well behaved, loving girl! I really enjoy going on walks/runs, playing with indestructible chew toys (I really love my chew toys), playing a good game of tug-o-war or fetch, wrestling, and some nice cuddles or pets! You can even steal my heart with some tasty treats and I can steal your heart with all the tricks I know (sit, lay down, shake, etc.) I have also lived and done well with another dog and children the ages of one and two!Stop by and meet me today!

Story
Meet Sepia, a lovable and high-energy female dog who came to us as an owner surrender. Sepia is sweet, affectionate, and ready to find her forever family. She’s an energetic walker who enjoys being on the move, making her the perfect companion for an active household. Whether it’s a brisk walk or a game of tug, Sepia is always up for fun and playtime. This sweet girl has a love for rope toys and is especially treat-motivated, which makes training and bonding with her a breeze. Sepia also enjoys cuddling up for lap time, showing her playful side while being equally loving and affectionate. She’s always eager to be pet and will happily join in on any play session or cozy cuddle.Sepia doesn’t have a known history with other dogs or cats, so any introductions should be done slowly and carefully to ensure everyone gets along. As always, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any resident pets prior to adoption to make sure their playstyles and temperaments are a good match. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO MEET Sepia prior to adoption. Sepia is a loving, playful dog who’s ready to share her energy and affection with the right family. If you`re looking for an active and sweet companion who loves to play and cuddle, Sepia might be the perfect fit for you.Stop by and meet this lovely lady today!!

Story
Meet Timmy Turner! Timmy came to THS after a change in lifestyle where his previous owner could no longer keep him. Despite this set back, this sweet gentleman is looking to find his new furrever home! Some things from his previous owner, `Timmy is a very sweet boy who enjoys to cuddle. He has lived with kids and done well. Timmy knows a few tricks; such as: sit, down, come, and leave it. He does well in a crate and is housebroken on a schedule. Some of Timmy`s favorite toys are tennis balls, rope toys, and he loves to tear up stuffed toys.`Timmy spent some time out in foster care for our annual Home for the Holidays program and his foster family said that he is friendly, active, affectionate, cuddly, and plays well with other dogs (especially if they enjoy rough and tumble play!). Squeaky toys, bones, and playing fetch and tug of war with his house mate were some of his favorites!! He can get excited but calms down once he is settled in!Stop by and meet him today!
