Story
Bully was abandoned. She showed up in my driveway starving. I started to leave food. She disappeared for a while and then was pregnant. She had three puppies that I also fed. I earned her trust during a thunderstorm. She was terrified, I let her in my car for the night. A month later, my property flooded and I evacuated. When the roads were open a month later, I went back. She survived. She was skinny and dirty and not eating. I took her back to my FEMA hotel and she slowly got the mud water and sand out of her system and seems normal and happy now. My house is destroyed and I will need to leave the state and stay with family soon.

Story
Loki showed up at my house and would not leave. He was clean and well fed so I assumed he belonged in the neighborhood but I was unable to find his people. He has been vetted, had his first round of puppy shots, and has 4 months of flea/heartworm preventative left that I purchased. I work full time and do not have the time to devote to a young dog. I don't want to have to kennel him all day.

Story
This beautiful crazy petite girl is Xena! She's a Collie/German Shepherd mix with party eyes and around 9 months old. With lots of energy, her personality is definitely on the firecracker side, but she does love being by your side and will happily have a dramatic cuddle session. She does have some sort of separation or just kennel anxiety. She does not like being in a kennel at all and has destroyed 3 of ours already. however, she does absolutely amazing out of a kennel even when we're not in the house. So with that information, I'd suggest that she really doesn't like being confined. I've been working on desensitizing her from the bad feelings she applies to the kennel but nothing has worked so far. She just wants to be out of it, and once she is, she'll happily just lay on the couch next to you or find a cool area to lay on. She'll bark on the initial meeting with humans and other dogs due to her anxious nature, but once that's over with, she's completely fine and will become her usual excitable self! She will most definitely need a semi experienced owner that understands that she needs more attentive training and will be able to work with her. If you're however not planning on kenneling her, she'd be an absolute perfect dog with just some simple obedience training. We found Xena as she was running in traffic on the highway and was only able to catch her with the help of a kind firefighter that pulled over. She was very frightened, but once she was in the car, she seemed to calm down and was extremely thankful! We thought for sure we'd find an owner but after scouring and posting in every online area we could think off, we weren't able to find anything. So, she's now been with us for almost a month. Unfortunately, we are overloaded with dogs like everyone else but I think she'd really benefit from being fostered or adopted from someone that can give her the attention and time she needs. If you'd like more information on little Xena please feel free to reach out to us! ❤ Spayed, and up to date on shots all shots including Rabies. She isn't microchipped yet but will be once she's healed from her spay.

Story
Meet Chanel! With her infectious smile and wiggly body, she will capture your heart with one look! She's one of the sweetest, lovable cuddle bugs I've ever met and is extremely smart! I don't know how trained she is but so far we've figured out that she knows, sit, shake, lay down, and up. She's also very calm and very rarely barks. She's just an overall good girl! This beautiful baby l was on the euthanasia list at the shelter with no rescue backings even with multiple time advancements because the shelter workers loved her so much. Many of the people from the shelter came out when we picked her up to say goodbye, and even messaged us after the fact to see how she was doing. They did their part then we caught sight of her and couldn't stomach seeing such a great girl be put to sleep. Now, she's with us and we're doing our best to find her perfect home which she deserves so so much! If you'd like to meet her or would like more information, please feel free to reach out! 🥰🐾 Chanel is UTD, Microchipped, Rabies Shot, Spayed, and unfortunately, low HW positive. She is currently on a slow kill treatment as her HW status was very very low. A test will be done in another few weeks to see how it's going!

Story
This beautiful German Shephard Mix has been with us since January 20th 2024 after almost getting hit by a dump truck right outside our house. She's an extremely happy and energetic girl that could happily play all day with her foster siblings and absolutely loves to go to the park to meet new friends! She is a little stubborn, but we are working on her attention span and commands which she's quickly getting better at! We've unable to test her with kids and we keep all of our dogs away from the cat that stays in our front, but I've absolutely never seen an aggressive action come from her happy-self. Whenever she meets new people, she will just walk right up and roll on her back to get some well-deserved belly rubs, so without the ability to test her with kids here at home, I'm unable to tell you how she's been with kids, but I can say with absolute confidence that she'd be fantastic with them as she is with everyone she meets! Spayed, and UTD on shots. Microchip which will be done as soon as we're able and it will definitely be before she's adopted. For more information on Stella, please feel free to reach out!
