Story
Hes around 5 years old. He is up to date on his Rabies Vaccine and is currently on Bravecto for flea and tick prevention. He is not fully house-trained but knows to use puppy pads. We adopted him in May of 2022, so around 2 years ago. In 2023, we moved out of our house (with a yard and a fence) into an apartment. After moving into the apartment something changed. He started attacking other dogs. We have 2 other dogs in the household, and he gets along fine with them (with the occasional barking and snapping from our senior dog who is annoyed with him trying to play with her). He does occasionally try to bite people, and will succeed on occasion. He will try and bite you if you try to pick him up, push him off of a couch or bed, and pull the blankets on your bed if he is laying on them. He will try to get between your legs. The reason we are rehoming him now despite dealing with his issues for the past year and a half is due to the fact that my grandmother is having surgery on her leg.

Maggie is great with young children, cats and other dogs. Unfortunately she was a rescue and we are not able to keep her due to our police K9. She is a couch potato but can have energy as long as you need it. She is about 2 years old and loves snuggles. She is kennel and house trained as well.

Story
Looking for a fun, puppy companion? Bandy is your guy. Not quite a year old, Bandy has lots of puppy energy but is already housebroken and crate trained. He is also doing well on a leash. Joe loves toys and other dogs and would be a perfect addition to a family with another active dog. He is good with kids, but still has some puppy jumping and mouthing so would be best with kids over 8. Bandy is ready to go, as he has been fixed, chipped and has all his vaccines. This is a smart little guy and an learn tricks easily. So if you are looking for a cute little under 15 pound buddy, come meet Bandy. Saverescue.org/adoptionapplication

Story
Frank is a very sweet and precious little guy who needs lots of love and attention. We have no history except that he was found wandering the streets and was very very frightened. He is very healthy and has progressed slowly but steadily . Plays with the other foster dogs now and is good with cats. Seems to bond more with one person but takes a long time to approach you and will still for right now run. He is responding well with his foster dad, even gets in bed with him but not a cuddly yet. Still very nervous when you have to pick up. If there is anything I'm sure of I'm sure that once this baby is your friend he will be for life. Frank is one of those timid, Chihuahuas, that need a patient and understanding person and will surely reward you with love.
