I may have had a hard life in the beginning, but now that I'm here I feel much better and am playful, energetic and maybe a little bit mischievous! I am a staff favorite here at CCS and am a part of an exclusive club called "Lonely Hearts Club"! The Lonely Hearts Club is for kitties who are having a harder time getting adopted, weather it be due to age or medical needs. Meet Boots! Boots is a 10-year-old kitty who was found outside during a bitter cold spell. This sweet boy has been through a lot and is now looking for a quiet, loving home where he can finally feel safe. He would do best as the only pet in a home without young or rambunctious children, as he is easily startled by loud noises and other animals. Despite his cautious nature, Boots is incredibly affectionate once he feels comfortable. He has a unique way of showing his happiness—by drooling when he’s especially content! He also has a habit of yowling in the middle of the night, just looking for some human connection. A cozy hiding spot is a must for him, as he likes to have a safe retreat when he needs it. When he was rescued, Boots was severely matted and had to be completely shaved down. While he wasn’t a fan of the process (understandably, as those mats were uncomfortable!), he is now mat-free and feeling much better. His current haircut may not be the most stylish, but his fur will grow back beautifully with time. To keep him from matting again, Boots will need regular brushing to keep his coat in good shape. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants a quiet life filled with gentle affection, Boots could be the perfect match for you. ~Foster to Adopt~Hi friends, my name is Beau—the most handsome, dashing, and charming 15-year-old black cat you will ever meet.I have been to MaxFund twice. The first time was because my previous owner was moving into a memory care facility. I eventually found my new owner and thought things were going well, until one day I ended up here again. But, after several months I was lucky enough to find a loving foster home! Sadly, my fosters were unable to care for me long term so I am back at the shelter. Though, I am shy at first, I eventually warm up to people. I am very playful (for an old guy) and I never met a wand toy or laser that didn’t instantly get my attention. My most recent foster mom carried me around like a clutch, which is funny because I didn’t like to be picked up at the shelter. In fact, I really started to come out of my shell in my foster home. I even got along with the family dog!Every cat’s wish is for a forever home with a forever family. Would you consider taking in a sweet old guy?

Hello friends! My name is Jackson, I am a 14 year old, neutered male, medium-haired cat. I was relinquished to MaxFund October 2023 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!I`m a beautiful orange and white short-haired guy with adorably long hears and mesmerizing green eyes. One of the staff members says I have eyes like beautiful sea glass. Don`t you think I kind of look like an orange Creamsicle??I am a sugary sweet, easy-going boy who loves to be brushed and picked up. Also, I like tummy rubs .I`m a purring machine - I purr like a motorboat. I lived very successfully with an energetic, talkative small dog. At the shelter, I have spent time around my cat buddies and we all get along just fine! If you want a gentle, easy-going boy, that`s me!One important thing about me is that I am diabetic. I require twice daily insulin injections and must eat special food. Sadly for me, I cannot have any table food but that`s ok, just give me extra snuggles and we`ll call it even.
