Story
Leonard & Winnifred are a bonded pair. Their adoption fee is $300. Looking for the ultimate cat duo? Leonard and Winnifred are a bonded pair who balance each other out perfectly! Leonard is the life of the party—an outgoing, endlessly entertaining long haired orange kitty with a heart full of love. He adores being by your side at all times, whether you’re relaxing, working, or heading to bed (where he’ll curl under the covers for snuggles). With boundless energy for playtime, Leonard turns everything into a game, keeping you laughing with his silly antics. He also enjoys gazing out the window, watching birds and the world go by. Winnie, on the other hand, is a little shyer but a total cuddle bug. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s all about gentle snuggles and quiet affection. Her calm nature beautifully balances Leonard’s high energy, making them the perfect match. You’ll often find them playing, napping, and exploring together! They are both gentle and incredibly affectionate and entertaining! Both Leonard and Winnie are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and litter-trained. If you’re looking for a duo that brings both excitement and sweetness into your life, Leonard & Winnie are ready to steal your heart! Rezdawg adoption fees cover rescue/transportation costs, spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations and other medical services, as needed, to bring the animals up-to-date at their time of adoption. You save a bundle of money by adopting from a non-profit—and even more importantly, you allow RezDawg to save another animal from being euthanized. ALL funds are used to save and support the animals! ##134012##

Story
~Foster to Adopt~Hi friends, my name is Beau—the most handsome, dashing, and charming 15-year-old black cat you will ever meet.I have been to MaxFund twice. The first time was because my previous owner was moving into a memory care facility. I eventually found my new owner and thought things were going well, until one day I ended up here again. But, after several months I was lucky enough to find a loving foster home! Sadly, my fosters were unable to care for me long term so I am back at the shelter. Though, I am shy at first, I eventually warm up to people. I am very playful (for an old guy) and I never met a wand toy or laser that didn’t instantly get my attention. My most recent foster mom carried me around like a clutch, which is funny because I didn’t like to be picked up at the shelter. In fact, I really started to come out of my shell in my foster home. I even got along with the family dog!Every cat’s wish is for a forever home with a forever family. Would you consider taking in a sweet old guy?

Story
Hello friends! My name is Jackson, I am a 14 year old, neutered male, medium-haired cat. I was relinquished to MaxFund October 2023 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home! I have been patiently waiting for a home, and while the kind people at MaxFund take great care of me, what I really need is a family to call my own.I’m told I look like an orange Creamsicle, and with my long ears and mesmerizing green eyes—like beautiful sea glass—I certainly turn heads. But looks aren’t everything; it’s my heart that makes me truly special. I’m a gentle, sugary-sweet, easygoing boy who loves to be brushed, picked up, and even have my tummy rubbed. I purr like a motorboat, and if I’m extra happy, I might even drool a little—just my way of showing you how much I love you!One of my favorite things is going on harness walks around the shelter. When I’m out and about, everyone stops to pet me and give me attention. They say I’m just the best boy—and I have to agree! I love spending quality time with my humans, curling up in a warm lap to watch movies, and soaking in all the love I can get. I also love to play, explore, and just enjoy life with my favorite people.I do have diabetes, which means I need twice-daily insulin shots and a special diet. It’s a small routine, and I promise I’ll make it worth your while with extra snuggles, purrs, and devotion. Sadly for me, I cannot have any table food but that`s ok, just give me extra snuggles and we`ll call it even. Because of this, I’m available as a Short-Term Foster with Intent to Adopt. If you’re interested in learning more about me, please reach out to fostercats@maxfund.org.I’ve lived happily with a small, talkative dog before, and I get along fine with my fellow feline friends. But here’s the thing—some of my diabetic friends have already found their forever homes, and while I still have one roommate left, I really hope I’m next. I have so much love to give, and I know I’d make the perfect companion for someone out there.I’ve been waiting a long time. Too long. But I believe my person is out there—someone who will look into my green eyes, hear my deep, happy purrs, and say, “You’re finally home.” Could that someone be you?The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 - 4:30, Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.

Story
Hello! My name is Whisper, I am an almost 4 month old, spayed female, long-haired kitten. I was found as a stray January 2025 and brought to MaxFund, now I am looking for my fur-ever home! I am a typical kitten: I LOVE to play and I LOVE attention! Please pet me and play with me and hold me! I also have a lot of energy that I need to get out. I may play bite you, I haven`t learned that people don`t like that. I need to be taught manners and to be gentle with my teeth and claws. I make up for it in cuteness!I had to get one of my legs removed, that doesn`t stop me though! I am learning balance and how to walk on 3 legs.If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter to meet me!The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
