Story
Hades is a 4-year-old queen with a fiery personality and a striking presence. She’s independent, confident, and very much of the mindset that she owns the house—you’re just here to serve her meals and admire her beauty. While she may come off as spicy, deep down she just needs someone patient and understanding to help bring her out of her shell. She does have some behavioral quirks, especially around strangers, and prefers to keep her inner circle very exclusive. But for the right person who respects her space and lets her warm up on her own terms, Hades can be an entertaining and rewarding companion!

Story
Tina is an 8-year-old sweetheart who’s as classy as she is cuddly! This gentle girl enjoys a peaceful home where she can soak up the sun and lounge like the little loaf she is. She’s independent but loves affection—on her own terms, of course! Once she trusts you, she transforms into the ultimate cuddle buddy. She currently lives in a home with no kids and one dog. While she wasn’t a fan of the pup at first, they’ve reached a truce and now peacefully coexist. Tina has excellent manners—no destructive habits here! As long as she has a scratch pad (which she adores), your furniture is safe. Her favorite things? Catnip, Temptation treats, and gentle scratches. Just don’t bring out a garbage bag—she’s not a fan! If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance, and loving companion who will reward your kindness with purrs and snuggles, Tina is the one for you.

Story
Hello, I am Sven! I have lived at Dog & Kitty City since June 25, 2018, when I was surrendered to the shelter by myowner because I tested positive for feline leukemia, and she had other cats in the home. I have always been shy withpeople, but I get along just fine with the other cats in the leukemia room. To be perfectly honest, I really prefer tostay outside on the catio, away from people altogether. I hiss and bare my teeth, umm fangs, when they approachme to scare them away. When it is time for canned food, I pop right through the cat door and come inside to chowdown. I love the buffet the humans put out for us leukemia cats! DOB 10/13/17If you would like to sponsor Sven on our Guardian Angel Program, please email info@dognkittycity.org. You are alsowelcome to come and visit him. Story
I got Cakepop from a friend about a year and a half ago. I love this sweet girl, but unfortunately due to moving soon I cannot keep her. She is very friendly and loves to cuddle, but can be a little shy at first. Talkative cat, loves to play with a laser pointer or feather toy. Should go to a home without rambunctious dogs or cats that are very dominant. She does enjoy watching quieter, gentler dogs, and she does make friends with other sweet and gentle cats.

Story
Greetings! I’m Clarence. I am in search of a new forever, I’m hoping for a calm, kind and gentle family. I’m a sweet Maine Coon mix born in 2016. I’m told I have an expressive and amusing face. I get along with my furry foster siblings, both feline and canine, I even let the kittens cuddle with me. I like older children, very little ones can be a little rough and I don’t enjoy being man handled. However, I love being pet and brushed. I am affectionate and enjoy a good head bump. I like contact when you’re near and will reach out if you don’t. I use my paws a lot, I even let my foster hold them and tolerate when she trims my nails as long as she is gentle. I’ll snuggle up while you sleep and keep you company when you watch TV. I am independent and can entertain myself as long as I have a window to gaze through, and the occasional toy, but I like people and want/require some attention. Clarence is vetted and has excellent litter manners. He is on a prescription diet and eats out of raised bowls. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption.
