Story
DOB 3/15/24 Cheddar is a sweet, shy guy. Give him a little time and he will be your best friend, with the exception of his brother Cojack, who is his BFF. These two are a bonded pair, double the love, double the fun. He still hides from loud noises and fast movements, but he is still very young and will get over this with slow, loving care and affection. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The $125 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
We'll also keep you updated on Cojack (bonded with Cheddar)'s adoption status with email updates.

Story
DOB 3/15/24 Meet Cojack. He's a sweet guy that is ready to find a forever home with his brother Cheddar. They love to play, wrestle, and sleep together. He's gotten more outgoing and likes cuddling as time goes by, all it took was a little patience (and lots of treats) He is part of a bonded pair, along with his brother Cheddar. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Story
King of the Hill belongs to this guy. Take a gander at Honeybun, also known as Pastrami! He's brave, he's playful, and he's loving. He's got a mischievous side in the best way possible. He loves snacks and is down to investigate and/or play with anything that moves. He's got beautiful, flowing locks with an emerging smoky coat.

Story
I have had Gracie since she was 12 weeks old. I adopted her from a friend whose mama cat had four babies. Gracie is three years old. She is an indoor-only cat. Gracie is a quiet kitty. She doesn't talk much and her purr is very soft and not often. She is pretty independent. But often in the evening when I am in my recliner reading or watching TV, she will jump up and want to doze between my legs. She likes to be petted, but not picked up and held. She is healthy and has seen the Vet recently when we went to discuss her recent attitude about being territorial. She has laid claim to the bedroom and doesn't like me to come in (she often naps on top of the dresser where she can also see outside). The Vet feels strongly that Gracie really needs to be either an indoor/outdoor kitty or an outdoor kitty (barn cat, maybe?). The Vet says some cats just feel boxed in and since our living space if fairly small, she thinks Gracie just needs some room to roam, which is not an option for me.

Story
Two gorgeous orange cats (male and female) looking for a new home. Their names are Nugget (orange nose) and Peaches (white nose) and are 1 year 9 months old. We found them, along with their other 5 siblings, late at night in the middle of a road all bundled together. All their other siblings quickly found homes and our family decided to keep these two a little longer. Nugget, a shy and very cautious cat, loves getting petted; when he was younger, he would drool a lot when petted (he still drools a little bit). Peaches is a sociable and approachable cat. She loves to hang out with her humans wherever they go. We have enjoyed having these two beautiful cats in our lives, but as our lifestyles shift, we are no longer able to house these two cuties. Prefer to give them as a pair, but not mandatory. Looking for a great family that will continue to care and love these wonderful balls of fluff! Both cats are spayed/neutered
