Rainier is a kind soul, sleeps a lot and is a loving friend. He feels like a protector and is an indoor cat. He is microchipped and great with kids. We have 2 kids under 2 and entering the toddler stage with them is becoming more chaotic and we aren't able to give our cats as much attention as they deserve. We also have multiple family members who are extremely allergic and with moving to TX we want them to be able to visit and stay with us.

**This is a courtesy post** ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Carroll - grey and white male- Carroll is a loving and very playful boy who loves his toys and wants to be in your lap all the time.  He is very treat motivated and loves to get his snacks.  He also adores his sister Tux and is bonded with her.  He is litter box trained and is ready to find his forever home.  Tux- black and white female-  Tux is shy and reserved.  She and her brother were both born outside to a ferrel colony of cats in the summer of 2022 and were rescued.  She is very food motivated and will let you let you pet her when you have treats but she takes a long time to warm up to people.  She is not aggressive but is very frightened.  She relys on her brother Carroll to help her get comfortable in new surroundings.  She loves to play and will chase after toys and loves her scratch post.  She is fully litter box trained and has done well with other cats in the home along with her brother.   --  Where did they come from: They were surrendered to a boarding facility by a good samaritan.  Adoption: ***** $300.00 for the Bonded Pair ***** Weight: they each weigh about 8 lbs. All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Kaylee is a petite, beautiful, solid black girl who’s very shy and will need some patience to bring her out of her shell. She gets along with other cats but has thus far not allowed much human contact, although she is constantly watching her foster parents and seems to want to be in the same room. She would make a wonderful companion cat for an only cat who needs company. Kaylee is spayed, microchipped, combo tested, vaccinated, and litter trained. All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Sebastian came to us as a very scared little kitten who was not comfortable with people or really much of anything in the world except other cats. While in foster care, he has blossomed into a complete lovebug. He is the type of cat who will follow you around for attention and absolutely loves being petted, but he gets really into the attention, so he’s not as much of a fan of being held while getting attention – he’s just too excited about getting love to sit in one spot during it, so he wants to be able to walk around you while you’re petting him. He’s also really clumsy for a cat, so a lot of times if he’s getting attention, it’s the person’s problem to ensure that he doesn’t fall off of whatever he’s on, not his. When saying hi to other cats, he doesn’t just do the polite sniff and say hello thing or give a small head butt/nuzzle, he wants to make sure that the introduction is complete, so he instead runs his whole body against their face, nose to butt, before continuing on with his day.  He loves (or attempts to love – some don’t like it as much) every other cat he meets and has even forced some of our less cat-friendly fosters to start accepting other cats in their space. With that said, however, he is very bonded to one of our other fosters, Sepia, so we will only be adopting the two out together. When she was out of the house for a few days at the store, even with there being plenty of other cats for him to play with and cuddle with, he spent the entire time just lying in one of her favorite sleep spots. He didn’t even get up for wet food, and he’s usually one of the first ones waiting in line for breakfast and dinner. He also, if he wakes up and isn’t sure where she is, starts making the sad, I’m lost little kitten mews.  HFL-101-22 (AW) DOB 7/24/21**Want to adopt? All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Muffy, approx DOB 4/14/24, was born in an RV park to a stray.   He is sweet as can be.  He currently lives with his foster mom and three younger siblings.  He is a wobbly kitty with partially blind right eye but is able to walk and play with his siblings.  He has had that since birth.  Sometimes he may fall in his litter box and will need help cleaning up.  He loves his siblings and would like to be in a home with another cat who will be his friend and with someone who will appreciate that the love he gives far outweighs any extra effort and patience they will give caring for him.
