Domestic Mediumhair kittens & cats in Plano, Texas

My sister found these two at the beginning of July and asked if they could stay with me while we looked for a place for them. We have had not had any success finding a home or rescue for them, but do not want to consider the kill-shelters in the area. We have been calling the light furred cat Lady and her sister Callie estimated to be about a year old(?). Lady is playful, curious, and affectionate. Callie is more relaxed but can be coaxed into fun, very intelligent, and likes to give kisses whenever she comes to lay down with you. They have both been excellent with young children, and have had more than enough patience for my sister's one and five year olds. I am moving out of my apartment at the end of this week and cannot bring them when I go. We have been spending all of our free time trying to find a solution for these girls. They are the sweetest cats I have known, and we just want somewhere safe for them to be cared for.

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Kaylee is a petite, beautiful, solid black girl who’s very shy and will need some patience to bring her out of her shell. She gets along with other cats but has thus far not allowed much human contact, although she is constantly watching her foster parents and seems to want to be in the same room. She would make a wonderful companion cat for an only cat who needs company. Kaylee is spayed, microchipped, combo tested, vaccinated, and litter trained. The store management called Cat Matchers to help, and we were able to bring them into our our foster system. Spot's siblings and mom were all adopted but sadly he hasn't found his forever home yet. Spot is a bit on the shy side. He loves the cats and has become friends with the parrot in his foster home. He cowers when you try to pet him, as if he has been beaten. He is looking for a home where the humans will love him and have patience with him as he fully blossoms into his personality. He also needs another cat or furry friend with whom he can spend his time. Spot will be shy at first. He does act like he has been hit and so he'll pull away when you reach down to pet him as if he's afraid you're going to hit him. it's very sad. Maui, DOB 12/15/2007, a Long Hair Torbie had Loki, DOB 4/4/2008, Brown Tabby - Natural Born Bobtail when she was only 4 months old.  They were adopted together in 2008.  Sadly, their owner passed recently and the family did not have room to take the cats into their homes.  The owner had Cat Matchers listed in her will, so thankfully the family knew who to call. Maui and Loki are gentle and friendly.  They love being brushed, especially around the chin area. Loki will reach up with both paws to hold the brush or comb in place so she can rub her chin on it while you hold it. They will do the work while you hold the comb or brush for them.  They are a sweet pair who would be a loving addition to your home. Maui recently had to get 15 of her teeth removed, so she needs to eat wet food.  They are particular in their taste and prefer a fish based wet food. Loki is frightened of other animals and would prefer to be in a home without any other animals other than Maui. She has adapted to the foster's small dog and cat, after several months of hiding, but is still scared and not happy about it. She has an endearing habit of standing up on her rear legs and holding onto your hand when she wants you to keep petting her.  She also gently taps you with her paw when she wants petting while looking lovingly at you with her bright green eyes. I am absolutely a lovely grey and white floof.  I am aloof as all cats should be.    Playing is super fun and I am on it when it come to watching birds and squirrels from the window.  I need to be the cat in charge and would even make a good only kitty.    I am a true cat and do all cat things. My first impressions are tough as being  a new place is kinda scary, so it takes me a week or so to settle into a new life.   I am affectionate and appreciate people who truly love me and love a real cat.  August 18, 2024, 4:16 pm

Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow! I’m Runa, a 4yr old dilute tortie with velvety soft fur, beautiful big eyes, dazzling coloring, and a delicate little face and frame! I'm a bit shy and will be nervous at first, but once I feel safe, you will see me shine! I am a super sweet, extra snuggly, very cuddly, furry roly-poly bug. I insist on lots of affection and thrive on lots of attention but you’re in luck! I’ll love loving you as much as you’ll love loving me! When you enter my view, I’ll roll over and bare my tummy. When you stray too far away, I’ll wait patiently for your return. When you’re not nearby, I’ll find you. I’m very observant; my eyes will follow wherever you go! When it’s time for bed, I’ll hop right under the sheets to doze off on top of you/next to you/ with my paw on your face! I won’t even care if you squish me a little! I’m just happy to be by your side! I hope you don’t mind not having personal space because I want to be included in all that you do! On the computer? I’ll be in your lap! Playing video games? I’ll rub against your controller! Cooking, eating, praying, sleeping? I’ll be around, ready for love! The best thing about me is that I am adorably portable! I enjoy being carried (and treated!) like a baby! I am communicative and a total purr machine. When you look at me, I meow and my whole face lights up! I’ll let you know when it is time for pets, which in my book, is all the time! When I’m fully contented, feeling confident and my love battery is fully charged, I like to explore. I’ll check out places up high and find cozy spots for daytime naps. But as soon as I’m up, I’m all yours again. If you can’t tell already, my favorite place in the whole entire world is right next to you! My ideal person is a homebody. My ideal home environment is calm, quiet, and relaxed. I am prone to over-grooming when I am stressed but don’t worry. As long as I am loved, I will be A-OK!   I’m a tiny kitty with the biggest heart. Meatball is about as cute as they come! This little guy was found living in a storm drain next to a dog park and a busy intersection. His foster mom snatched him up and the rest is history. He absolutely loves toys and can also entertain himself. He is great with the dog as long as the dog is calm. Meatball was a stray and on his own, so he can still get scared and hide from time to time, especially when things are new. But he’s brave and comes out quickly. He already loves humans and purrs when being held. Meatball tends to be dominant in play so he may be better as an only kitty in the home! August 18, 2024, 4:16 pm

Buddha and Grape are the last two left from their litter.  They are BONDED and need to be adopted TOGETHER. They are both cat and all people friendly.  They have dog tested well with small and medium size dogs. Buddha is shy while Grape is more outgoing.  Buddha is most confident when he is with his sister.  You can find them together snuggled up snoozing the day away on the couch or in their cat tree.
