Story
Hi there, I'm Nugget! I stumbled upon my foster family when I was a tiny, 8 week old nugget and have been enjoying the indoor kitty life ever since. I like to spend my time cuddling with my foster mom while she works, wrestling with toys, and following my fosters' resident cats around. I love to play with friends and they teach me really important kitty skills, so I need to be adopted into a home with another resident cat. RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/heartworm preventative. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit by an RHS representative. Phone Interview. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. Home Visit.  If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will coordinate a virtual home visit. We’ll request you send videos/pictures of your home to verify it is safe and welcoming for the cat. Meet and Greet. Once your home visit is complete, we can coordinate a time with you and the foster parent/s to meet the kitty you’re interested in.  Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $125 for cats, and payable by Paypal, Venmo, cash, or check. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. ##2232257##

Story
Meet beautiful mediumhaired Calico girl, Amira! She was found in Dallas with a feral colony, but a kind person realized she was not feral at all and brought her to TMHPR to help her find her forever family where she can live indoors safe and loved. Amira has a very unique look as she has Heterochromia, meaning her eyes are not the same color. She peers at you with adoration through one blue eye and one green eye. Amira is a friendly girl who likes a perch by the window to monitor the world outside. She’s a super good cuddler to join in your TV or reading time. Just great company. This girl is very food motivated, which makes her a dream to form a bond. At around a year old, she has plenty of playfulness, especially with feathered dangly toys. Cuddly, playful, and gorgeous, what more could you ask for? Her estimated birth date is February 12, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2303854##

Story
Rainier is a kind soul, sleeps a lot and is a loving friend. He feels like a protector and is an indoor cat. He is microchipped and great with kids. We have 2 kids under 2 and entering the toddler stage with them is becoming more chaotic and we aren't able to give our cats as much attention as they deserve. We also have multiple family members who are extremely allergic and with moving to TX we want them to be able to visit and stay with us. Rainier does well with other cats, not sure about dogs.

Story
Milo I feel is a great companion and a loveable fun cat but I feel he needs more attention and care than I am able to provide along with patience. I am preparing to leave Texas here soon and I really want to find him a GREAT home with someone maybe a little older that may have time to give him the love and care he needs if you can show that and provide that to him this will be a great fit for you and your home and family. He needs a home where he can roam freely and be free be nurtured and he needs to feel your presence. He has a healthy appetite he does get high spirited and he loves to run and play so you have to have room an apartment will NOT work. You will have a great cat and loving one.

Story
**This is a courtesy post** ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Carroll - grey and white male- Carroll is a loving and very playful boy who loves his toys and wants to be in your lap all the time.  He is very treat motivated and loves to get his snacks.  He also adores his sister Tux and is bonded with her.  He is litter box trained and is ready to find his forever home.  Tux- black and white female-  Tux is shy and reserved.  She and her brother were both born outside to a ferrel colony of cats in the summer of 2022 and were rescued.  She is very food motivated and will let you let you pet her when you have treats but she takes a long time to warm up to people.  She is not aggressive but is very frightened.  She relys on her brother Carroll to help her get comfortable in new surroundings.  She loves to play and will chase after toys and loves her scratch post.  She is fully litter box trained and has done well with other cats in the home along with her brother.   --  Where did they come from: They were surrendered to a boarding facility by a good samaritan.  Adoption: ***** $300.00 for the Bonded Pair ***** Weight: they each weigh about 8 lbs. Approximate DOB: 5/10/2022 ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------    November 4, 2024, 11:59 am

Story
Meet Dyson! Dyson is on the smaller side and is quite lean. She has a beautiful tortoiseshell coat with tan marbling all over and green eyes. Her long hair is soft and may require some regular brushing. She nurses and kneads for hours when happy Dyson is an incredibly active cat. You may find her parkour-ing across the home at all hours of the day, and is extremely curious about any and everything. She loves to chase her littermates or can entertain herself with a toy. Dyson won't be the best option for those looking for a cuddle buddy but would love to play and tire herself out with high-energy friends and owners. Dyson isn't an overly affectionate cat and prefers that pets remain on her back. She doesn't love her head getting touched in particular, but will just move away and never bites or scratches outside of gentle playing. She has experience with dogs and other cats, but can absolutely shine on her own with her vibrant personality. She may seem unsure, shy, or even scared at first meeting, but once she gets to know you she will bring nothing but fun. Dyson was found along with her other littermates after someone had noticed a stray cat in their area was getting closer and closer to delivery. After a couple days with her mother, the observant neighbor scooped up the kittens to ensure they didn't live a life on the street. Est DOB: 7/23 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.
