Story
We acquired George about 9 months ago to give our senior female cat a friend after our other one had passed away. He just hit 3 years old on September 11 and is an adorable boy. Unfortunately she does not get along with him (she's laid back) and our current home situation is not big enough for him to get out his energy the way he needs. He is a very playful cat that loves zooming around and then getting some loving. He's big on exploring around the home and would prefer a home with one or more male cats around his age to socialize and play with. George is also a big fan of head rubs and enjoys sitting down and watching TV with you. We are looking for a home big enough where he can roam free and get more play time than we can give him. He is an amazing boy we just unfortunately can't give him the life he should have. We will help with rehoming if needed (litter box, carrier, his special blanket, a box of food that he likes), we just want him to go to a loving home.

Story
Meet Little, the "little" cat with a big personality! Little is a sweet girl but she does have her boundaries that she needs her new human/s to respect. Little cannot live with any other cats in her next home and she did let us know that she may prefer living with older teens or adults only. Little enjoys playing with wand toys, bird and squirrel watching out the window, and enjoys some casual head, neck, and back pets. Little likes to follow her people around to make sure you remember she is there, and she has a special place in her heart for catnip and greenies brand treats. Little would love to make herself at home with you soon! Sassy cats are usually confident, intelligent and active. They often don’t like to be held, or have places on their bodies that they prefer not to be touched. When handled or petted in ways they do not prefer, they are likely to swat, nip or bite. They will be happiest in adult only homes or those with older kids who understand cats that have rules and will leave them alone. If they are bored then they may get into trouble and often need extra playtime in order to be their best selves. Sassy cats will go home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for EVERYONE in the home to be happy. Typically, sassy cats are not for first-time cat owners. Check out the video included to learn more from our friend Jackson Galaxy about living peacefully with sassy cats! Story
Are you looking to add a little spice to your life? Then help yourself to some delicious Queso! Queso was brought to Dakin as a stray, one who likely had a home and was left behind when his people moved. A kind person who was caring for a feral colony noticed him in the area and introduced him to her feral cats. He made friends, but a few of the other cats had to test out the new guy. Queso stood his ground. He's the stuff that great cats are made of. When it comes to people, though, he has proven to be a sweet, friendly boy with his feeder, allowing her to pet him. Queso would benefit from indoor/outdoor access or someone that will put in the time for interactive play. This handsome boy is happy to be out of the cold and is waiting patiently to jump into your heart. Add a little spice to your life with Queso!
