*If interested in adopting, please READ and follow instructions below. If she is not marked pending, she is still available, please just submit an application** **I am in foster in Pittsburgh ** *Female cat *brown ticked tabby *Approximately 1 1/2-2 years old as of September 2024 -Penny came in after she was found living outside with two generations of her kittens and we are lucky we were able to take her into the rescue and ensure that she won’t continue to have babies! Penny is a sweet, quiet girl who is shy at first but does warm up and enjoys being petted and loved on. She will do best at first kept in a smaller room, and then slowly given more space as she gets used to her new people! She is currently living with her daughters and sons and can be adopted with any of them or can be adopted to a home with other animals with slow introductions. Older kids or adults are best for her as she can be scared at first. She is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all the vetting above.

Hello! We would like to introduce you to our sweet gal Marsha. Marsha is still so shy, she wanted us to tell you about her! This little lady arrived as a stray, with another cat, so we think she can live with other kitties! She keeps to herself and can be very unsure of new people. However, she wants to make friends, she does! She is just so darn shy. She loves neck scratchies and chin scratchies, and will lean in and close her eyes as you pet her. She would do best in a home that is on the quieter side. She is quite adorable and so sweet! She is just a sweet little lady and would make the best companion. If you are interested in meeting her, please do! Come on down and meet our sweet, soft spoken Marsha today! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Story
Hello there, my name is Acorn. I came to the shelter after I was found outside, all on my own, as a stray. I am actually a senior cat, but I hope you won`t let that deter you from learning more about me. Some people see an older senior cat, and instead of falling head over heels in love, they sometimes move along and look for a younger feline friend. But if you were to pass me up, you would really be missing out. Here is what the staff have learned about me in my short time here at the shelter:`When Acorn first arrived, we weren`t quite sure what we were getting ourselves into. He is a very large cat, his one adorable ear is already ear tipped, and he had a little bit of a grumpy face. Once he got to his cage, it was hard to see him laying all curled up to the very back, looking very nervous and fearful of us. We gave him a little bit of time to settle in, and then we just wanted to know more about this handsome boy! We discovered that while he looked very scared and as if he wanted nothing to do with us, with just a few soft words and a gentle hand, we found him to be an affectionate and overly sweet cat. He leans in for pets and has a wonderful purr. He really is just a big love-bug. If you`re looking for someone gentle, soft-spoken, and loving, Acorn is definitely the one for you. `*Acorn is currently Foster to Adopt while we help him with a dental, come meet his fella today!*The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00.
