Hello! My name is Khal. I am so cute! I have the prettiest markings and sweetest personality. I love pets and will lean in for more. I like to meet new people and make new friends. I want to find a forever family that will allow me to be the only animal in the house. My previous family worries that a cat I lived with before bullied me, so they brought me here in the hopes that I could be someone`s one and only. I am so much happier not having to live with another animal and I simply love to snuggle up with my favorite person. Story
Hello! I am Kitty Boy! I am incredibly cute and so ready for a home that will all mine....forever! I am a gentle snuggle bug, quiet and sweet. I lived with another cat before...and they didn`t like me! The human who did save me? Definitely did. The human who found me outside saved me from the cold and took me to a vet to get medical help. You see, I had a collar embedded in my neck and it hurt really bad. But this wonderful human took me in, helped me heal, and tried hard to get her own cat to welcome me to the family...but it didn`t work. It`s okay though, no hard feelings! To be honest, I can see why that cat didn`t want to share his human...she was an angel! So now I am here ready to find my own angel. Is it you? Come meet me today! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Story
Hi there, I am Zoe! I am a very special, very beautiful little lady. I was owner surrendered because I did not get along with the cats in my previous home. They were stressing me out! I was not being nice to them, I was licking my hair off, it was a whole mess let me tell you. When I got to the shelter, I was shutdown and only wanted to be alone. Everything felt too scary and overwhelming; I just couldn`t understand what was happening. But slowly, I realized the staff were trying hard to get to know me. They found ways to cheer me up (catnip, treats, and the best, most luxurious beds!) and it meant a lot to me. I felt like someone was finally listening to what was bothering me and that made such a difference! I am actually very affectionate and sweet, I`m even a social eater and prefer to snack when someone sits with me! I would do best in a quiet, easy-going home. No kids, no other animals...just me and my person. I want so badly to find my soulmate, the person who will listen to me when I feel sad, cuddle me close when I am scared, and spend each day loving me unconditionally. If you are missing your soul-cat, come meet me today! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $50.00FELV/FIV testing can be done for additional $35.00. Story
Hello! My name is Reader. I am a very special boy with an amazing story. A few months ago I was found in Brady`s Run Park. My fur was pretty clean, I looked pretty healthy, and because of the area, the person who found me thinks I was dumped there on purpose. I was brought into the shelter in a little wire crate, frozen and afraid, not sure what was going to happen to me next. Staff sat with me, offered me a yummy snack, and talked to me. They set me up in a cozy cage and waited to see if I was truly an abandoned cat or potentially a true feral cat. I was hissy, I liked to hide, and if they came to close I would swat. One staff member came every day to see me, determined to figure me out and help me adjust. She brought friends with her and soon I had my own little club working every day to warm me up. They brought tasty treats that I simply couldn`t resist and cool toys for me to check out. Slowly, day by day, week by week, and now month by month, I have learned to trust my new friends. They would stop in, tell me about their day, and gave me time and space to finally allow pets. My shelter advocates are madly in love with me; they adore my `trills` (the way I chirp/purr in a sing song voice to them), my sassy ways, and my never-ending love for food. My humans here are kind of in a book club in a sense! Reader`s Book Club: we have snacks, enjoy each other`s company, tell stories, and more. If you are wanting to join Reader`s Book club, if you enjoy a good story (mine is a cliff-hanger as of now) and can appreciate the journey I`ve been on (like every good hero on a quest), and if you dream of helping me find my happily ever after, come meet me today! Reader is looking for a cozy home with a wide book selection and treat assortment, adults only please.
